We came by chance on Friday evening. Surprisingly, there were empty seats. The cafe is quite simple but cozy. Pleasant background music is playing. They were served quickly. Prices are average in Minsk. The tongue salad was very good. The Irish coffee is just great.

My husband's birthday was celebrated at the end of January. 4 were present! generations. I would like to express my special gratitude to the administrator Marina right away. From the moment the order was placed until the end of our celebration, she organized everything very professionally. It felt like she was our old friend. The table was ordered downstairs in the banquet hall. We were alone there that day. The hall is quite large, but at the same time cozy. There are 4 TVs with YouTube and a music speaker in the hall. Those who wished could dance. A lot of different dishes were ordered from the menu. Everything, according to the estimates of our guests, was 5+. The portions are large. Prices, taking into account the fact that this is the very center of the city, are very affordable. The waitress girls were also very helpful and helpful. I am grateful to all the staff for their attention and excellent communication with the children. All our guests also enjoyed everything very much. The atmosphere is 5+, the food is 5+ (grandma still remembers the dish from the language))), the staff is 5+. I definitely recommend it. We will definitely come back.

I've always liked this cafe on Independence, especially the terrace, friendly staff and good cuisine, but lately I've probably just been unlucky when I get there. A couple of days ago, a friend and I came to drink cocktails and have lunch, but they did not cook hot dishes that day, since there was no cook, although it was a day off. An aperol, which did not feel like alcohol at all, although we did not order a non-alcoholic one. A few weeks earlier, I went in for lunch and regretted that I had made an order because I had to wait, but all this time I was uncomfortable because a drunk customer was sitting behind my back, sleeping, periodically waking up and yelling at the entire terrace; the workers meekly tried to make a remark to him, but it all went on and no one else reacted. In addition, I ordered a beef carpacho, but unfortunately it did not look like a carpacho, not to taste, not by sight. They were just thickly sliced shapeless pieces of meat.But thanks to the admin-the girl reacted and suggested not to include carpacho in the bill. I like many dishes there, especially salads and lunch menus. But alas, there is something to work on-in terms of atmosphere and cuisine.

But the receptionist-waiter Marina ruined the whole vacation. It seems that the person is in a boarding house for the hard of hearing. Loud conversation throughout the hall, taking orders, communicating with visitors. Perhaps she once worked as a head teacher at a school and forgot that she had changed her job. And I forgot that people come to her to rest. She reacted rudely to the remark made. It seems that she came to my restaurant, not me to her. This is the first time I've seen such an attitude

She has lived half of her life in a house opposite the building where this cafe is now located. Therefore, I have been here many times, this place was famous in Minsk and the food here was always delicious and satisfying. Until today... I wasn't going to write anything, but I can't calm down from indignation and an unpleasant feeling that I was deceived in every way... I decided to go there with my friend, who has never been here, and I confidently told her that this is the place where I usually meet with my friends and colleagues. From the first minutes when I picked up the menu, I couldn't figure out where I was.... The menu completely disappointed me. A meager assortment of hot dishes and salads, and the price tag for salads (24 rubles) was almost equal to the cost of hot dishes. As a result, we both ordered pancakes with salmon and cheese sauce (a hot dish). On a large plate there were three thin (2mm thick, 6cm by 4cm) crispy shingles (more than one potato did not go into their preparation)... Instead of the declared raw sauce (I did not immediately realize that this was it), a tiny rose was squeezed out on each shingle with a syringe) 1cm in diameter, which it was impossible to anoint even this miniature shingle. Well, instead of salmon, we were put three tiny pieces (approx. 2 by 4cm) of soaked salted salmon, and I had to spit out the 4th piece, because they obviously did not have time to soak it... And this outrage cost me 28 rubles... Angry and hungry, we went to another place to eat... I strongly do not recommend this place!!! We waited for this work of culinary art for at least half an hour, it's good that we were still in a great mood and had something to talk about. Just a shame to the owner of this place!!!

It was like this until 01.01.2024... It's very sad... We visited this institution for many years, but the irreparable happened, the owners of the institution changed and everything changed. The most disgusting impressions remained with us on the first of the new year... Especially the lady manager. We tried to give another chance by marking the event there a couple of weeks later and again everything went just disgusting... The impression is that the establishments do not need regular visitors who have been visiting this place for years... I don't advise anyone...

We were there on Friday evening. Surprisingly, it was free. A cozy, quiet place. Nice staff, awesome snacks. Thanks to the administrator of Victoria for the excellent service.
I will add: 13.05 my friends celebrated. The appetizers and hot dishes were beyond praise. And then they took out the Napoleon cake, which the chefs make themselves. It was just a gastronomic feast. Everything was very tasty.

We arrived in Minsk and decided to try the local cuisine.Unfortunately, the choice fell on this institution.We ordered pancakes with salmon and pancakes with pork, mushrooms and fried onions on the menu without photos of dishes.And, of course, we were disappointed
The salmon is old and soaked and is not suitable for consumption in order to avoid poisoning.The second course was brought in a pot under a crust of dough.It looked disgusting, as if everything that was found in the kitchen was put in a pot and baked in the oven with sour cream, there was some kind of mess, brrrr.In a word, it's grumpy.And of course, I didn't even touch this dish.As a result, the money was thrown away, the mood was spoiled and the impression of the local cuisine.
Fortunately, it turned out that there are other places in Minsk where decent dishes are served for an adequate price.

Impressions depend on the cook. On the first visit it was very tasty, borscht as if with a barbecue, with a smoked flavor, very tasty. The rest of the dishes did not lag behind. We got out with my wife again and were disappointed. In borscht, the usual boiled chicken with a taste like in the dining room, carpaccio level,, took out the purchased one from the package,,. I would also like to look out the clean windows. Both times they were cloudy after the winter.

The kind waitresses, when they brought the dish, told us what was in the pot, what was covered with edible dough on top, if it was inconvenient for you to eat from the pot, there was an additional plate at the bottom. It's very pleasant and you don't sit like a fool, you don't mess around in this pot, but eat as you like.

The waitress worked quietly, silently, very efficiently and attentively. After finishing, she collected the remaining snacks and hot dishes without asking, packed them and handed them to us. Personally, it seemed to me that it smelled like a station canteen... The waitress is polite and attentive. The prices are too high for the quality of the dishes. In particular, dumplings with cherries are not just overcooked, but also served in a deep plate half filled with broth, as if they were dumplings. Is it really difficult to drain the water? Smoothies are generally a fiasco. Almost warm pink milk with a berry flavor and whipped foam on the surface... Just liquid milk... At the same time, the cheese plate was good (in terms of the cheeses served, but the grapes were so-so).

And the sturgeon and pork, unfortunately, were completely tasteless (the sturgeon was not at all fresh, and the shrimp in this dish were not at all tiger-like, as promised by the menu, and the pork was very overcooked and very poorly chewed). But to be fair, the zucchini in these two dishes were very good.
In general, you can have a snack, but you need to guess the dishes. And keep in mind that the waiter will not help you with this.
