I always thought that cabaret was about dancing women, but it turns out that cabaret is primarily about singing. The Nimble Rabbit is a historic place with famous guests: Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Modigliani. The cabaret is located in the legendary Montmartre district, the residence of artists who were once poor, but over time their names became known to the whole world. A cauldron of soup was set up at the gate of this cabaret so that neighbors in need could eat. Knowing the history, I really want to visit this place! And it exceeds expectations. Can you imagine how in the early 19th century poets read their poems here, how chansonniers sang, how Toulouse-Lautrec sat or sketched Modigliani. And they sing in this cabaret! There were no dancing half-naked women in our program. They sing brightly, boldly, joyfully, with pride. You may not understand anything in French, but it doesn't stop you from being excited.
