Nice restaurant in the very center of Yerevan. Beautiful panoramic view of Republic Square. The very heart of Yerevan. There are singing fans in the evening, it's just beautiful in the afternoon. The restaurant has several floors. For every taste. Delicious baklava. Great coffee.

You should go to the Diamond at least because of the view of Republic Square. As far as I know, the institution has been operating since the 90s, which speaks volumes. High-quality European and local cuisine. Alcohol seems to be expensive (it's estimated the next evening, as long as you're sitting there, it doesn't matter). Courteous staff and fast service. Do you know how an outdoor terrace works in winter? They put little igloos (transparent domes) on it, one per table! This is amazing!

It's the most terrifying thing I've ever seen. The food is disgusting, the service inhospitable. The price tag is horse. They ordered lamb hashlama, they didn't even eat it, they didn't bite off the meat or cut it off, 2 whole tomatoes and half a plate of potatoes. The lamb with eggplant puree is not fried, it is impossible to bite off, the black hair is stuck in the plate. There's not even a toothpick on the table to pick out this dish later. The view is beautiful and this is the only advantage of this place. I do not recommend it to tourists until the owners think about how they can disgrace the country with such cuisine and such service and have claims to the title of a restaurant.

The Diamond restaurant in Yerevan disappointed, despite the promising view of Republic Square. Yes, the landscape is really beautiful, but, unfortunately, this is the only advantage of the establishment. The inclusion of 15% for service in the receipt is surprising — for such a quality of service, this is completely unjustified. Everything is very strange))) Next, a good pizza, and 2000 drams for a glass of juice, they took 2 liters and 10 glasses were broken for a total of 20,000 drams, and 15% of the service fee for 2 carafes of juice was included))) And considering that the service is included in the bill, they won't bring you the change anyway. We definitely do not recommend this establishment, because a typical restaurant in the center of Yerevan should have a higher level of cuisine and service. This is not a restaurant. The worst restaurant in Yerevan. During a previous trip, I wanted to visit this place, to which I was told that apart from the beautiful view, there is nothing else in this place. The only advantage of this place is its number of floors and tables with a beautiful view of the central square of Yerevan. But, unfortunately, this is the only plus. The restaurant's cuisine leaves much to be desired. The desserts we ordered are just a nightmare. "Napoleon" was just wooden! I literally tasted a piece that I barely swallowed. I asked the waiter to pick up the dessert and bring ice cream, since it was impossible to eat this "Napoleon". However, to my surprise, the waiter did not even deign to clarify why I was not finishing dessert. Moreover, this "Napoleon" was not deducted from my account, and they did not even ask me why I did not like it. Hygiene was another unpleasant moment. Flies flew around the table, flew into the coffee and tried to land on the food. My piece of Napoleon was apparently cut off with the same knife that was used to cut my friend's dessert, as there were traces of chocolate on it, and my friend had a chocolate dessert. In general, visiting the Diamond restaurant in Yerevan was a real disappointment. I don't recommend it to anyone. Dear managers, you have a really great location, a great view of the square, but this is not enough. People come for a beautiful view 1 time, but if there is good service and delicious food, then they will come back to you. The most tasteless place in Yerevan. I somehow got used to the delicious gastronomy of Yerevan and relaxed in the choice of places to have dinner. The beautiful building of the restaurant attracted with the opportunity to dine on the terrace, overlooking not only the entire main square of the city, but partially Ararat. Briefly, because I don't want to waste time on this dubious institution: Instead of a loin of lamb, they brought a set of different bones, but not a loin (photo attached). Medium roast steak was not even performed well down, but simply dried to the state of chips for beer (also in the photo). The greens are ripe. Caprese salad on tomatoes, apparently brought from Moscow, or more northern latitudes - I don't know why. There are plenty of local tomatoes… Always bypass it.
