The historical and ethnographic village of Shindaga is located along the Dubai Creek Canal. While walking, you can visit historical museums, see traditional Arabic architecture, and relax in a cafe.

An interesting place. It is unusual in such a modern city to see a part of the "old life" as the city looked like before oil was discovered and intensive development began.

There are 22 pavilions in the museum, no one went inside, you can spend the whole day there, but there was not so much time. Plus, all expositions are in English and Arabic. We wandered through the narrow streets between the pavilions, it's very colorful there. There are few people, the shadow of the houses. The pictures are very beautiful.

Great, I highly recommend visiting, especially the perfume pavilion and the house of the Al Maktoum family. A beautiful location for a photo shoot.

I advise everyone to take a walk around the old town. A great contrast to the sleek Downtown. And you should definitely take a ride on the abra, too.

It's a thrill, it's a very authentic place. The whole village is a museum. You can get a ticket in the main building, which looks directly at the Al-Qubeiba Metro station (exits 3 and 4)
