It is a very atmospheric place, every nook and cranny pleases the eye with its authenticity. Shopkeepers are unobtrusive and friendly. A beautiful oriental bazaar with average prices. We were still at the time of the Indian music festival - it was very festive. But you can also retire to the narrow alleys and do an awesome photo shoot.

It's a good place to walk near the canal. Recreated Arab buildings and other artifacts create the atmosphere of old Dubai. There's not much to see, there are a lot of barker merchants. Starbucks turned out to be an antique theme. Next, a real historical quarter begins with art spaces, museums, and be sure to go there too.
