In my opinion, Turkish baklava was born here. The pastry shop has about 50 tables inside and on the veranda, and all of them are occupied. There are not many tourists, but locals come with whole families. A local hit is triangular baklava with triangular ice cream inside - I haven't tried it - consider that I haven't been. During the 3 days in Istanbul in this pastry shop, the extra kilogram definitely stuck to me. With the warmest memories.

Very juicy and delicious baklava. There are a lot of people inside, but the service is fast. You can sit both inside and outside, plus there is a courtyard. The tables are clean and tidy. The employees understand English. At the distribution line, you choose sweets, drinks are paid for at the checkout, then you go with a tray to the guys at the bar, they will give drinks by receipt. The average check for two people in October 2025 is 600-800 liras

I can't tell you how delicious it is! Everything works according to the principle of the dining room. You take a tray and order, pay for it, and receive tea by showing the receipt. There is also a shop nearby where you can buy baklava in beautiful boxes for a gift or home.

There are a lot of pastry shops with traditional sweets in Istanbul. Probably the most famous are Hafiz Mustafa and this Guleoglu. Guleoglu is one pastry shop, it's big. One part is the cafe itself, the other is the store. Tk. they don't sell dairy baklava in the store, so we went to a cafe. There are several queues and cash registers, you poke at the baklava you want and tell them how many slices, they put it on a plate and tray and immediately order drinks. And then, like a fool, you go to the very first place, show the receipt and stand with a tray and wait for them to give you a drink. This is a super idiotic system, I have to fit tea somewhere with three plates on a tray, while the milk baklava tends to slip off the plate. Then you look for a place, because there are a lot of people at any time. There are seats inside in the hall, there are on the 2nd floor, there are on the street, in the courtyard. The entrance to the cafe is on both sides. It's good to sit outside, but cigarette smoke just kills all the fun. And Turks smoke all the time. They have smoke all over them and their cigarettes are very smelly. It's a bit dirty inside, and the toilet is also so-so. In general, this milk baklava is not worth standing in line and breathing smoke, there is a lot of it in other places.

A cool concept, such as a dining room with Turkish sweets with a large landing on two floors and a courtyard. For me, these are the best Turkish sweets that I have eaten, Hafiz Mustafa loses to these guys. They also have beautiful packages, if you want to take them with you as a gift, they will be hermetically packed so that the syrup does not leak out. In general, I recommend you to visit.

Delicious is not the right word. There is a large selection, it is quite expensive, prices are indicated per kg, so it is difficult to determine how much will be learned in the end. Self-service, you stand in line with a tray, you pick up tea at a separate counter by receipt. There are tables inside and in the courtyard. Our guide took us there and told us the stories of how they become masters.

Karaköy Güllüoğlu baklava of the years continues in its new place, which is very stylishly decorated and with its usual taste, I recently tried carrot slice with pistachio, pistachio baklava, walnut wrap and pistachio wrap, they are all nice separately, the prices are normal according to the quality and the current economic environment, I especially liked the garden part of the new place, I recommend

The best cold baklava!!!!! I don't like classics - it's too cloying, but cold is a pleasure! While we were in Istanbul, we ate it here every day, or even more than once. Bomb!

The most delicious baklava in my life !!! We took them home to Russia and ate them in one tea party))).. Packaging is a separate visual ecstasy: a branded box , packed in a vacuum , and given out in a branded handbag . I got home alive and delicious)).. 7 pieces cost us 1,200 rubles in rubles.

Continuation of the story about the soup from Mahal Antep reviews: We decided to stop here and buy 3 pieces here to try. It's the best meal I've ever eaten in my life. I really love it in all its diversity, but this is the first place where, in addition to the sweetness, the bitterness of nuts was felt, and together these 2 flavors turned out to be even more pleasant! My girlfriend doesn't like pasta because it's very sweet - in the end, after she tried this one, we shared everything we bought, and she really liked it! If you want to understand what I'm talking about, buy a couple - you definitely won't regret it. We got 3 pieces for 230 lire. You can take more, and they will make everything beautiful for you in a very neat box! If you know a person who likes a snack and you have money, I highly recommend that you make this person feel good and bring a box. This is the best baklava we've ever tasted, although it's not my first time in Turkey. It's not even close to any store or hotel. Unfortunately, there are no photos, but they sell small portions. There are almost no people, do not hesitate to take a little bit, there is nothing shameful about it and they will not look at you askance, you really will not regret the money you spent. This is the most lively and real baklava.

We liked the place they just moved to, we decided to sit down, it's self-service anyway. The prices are very, very extravagant and the service provided on the contrary is insufficient. We bought water pies, the material was like rubber. A single small piece of baklava slice costs 80 ₺. We liked your tea, but the staff who cleaned, collected dirt was very bad. This place is over for me with the waiter who stuck his fingers into our glasses and took them from the table. In general, I would say a sloppy, customer-ignoring and excessively expensive business.

Baklava is great, but it probably gets sold out very quickly, which is why the range is small. There are a lot of people, it's very difficult to figure out what you need when there's a lot of fuss around, especially when you're driving for the first time. Otherwise, everything is fine, the packaging is top-notch, the staff is polite.

We found out about this place by chance - a local friend suggested it, and we talked to him in a cafe where we were drinking tea. He said it was super tasty and all the locals just go there. And it's true...Then the owner of the hotel where we stayed confirmed that it was just a great place. Delicious sweets and tea are said to be cheaper than at Hafiz Mustafa. I don't compare it, but I think it's true, even though we visited Mustafa. Everything is sooooo delicious, not super sweet. For two, we took 2 large Turkish teas and different baklava, 450-550 lira came out. Everyone tried a different one, but I always took soguk baklava for myself, this is my favorite. It is served with a sprinkle of chocolate or grated pistachios. I highly recommend it. You can also take it with you.

Delicious desserts and tea. I'm not a fan of baklava, but it's clear that the product is of high quality. They took it with ice cream (it tasted like goat's milk). Tea + baklava = 1000 rubles. Very satisfying

I don't recommend it!!! In a good mood, we decided to have tea with dessert on the last day and buy sweets with us. There are no prices anywhere (( What was our surprise when we received a general receipt without decryption and the amount as for a good dinner 🙈 The staff is being deceived ! Very unpleasant !

It is a wonderful place where crowds of locals go, which indicates the good quality of the products. in addition to the pastry shop itself, there is a restaurant and a shop. in the latter, in addition to baklava, you can find delicious coconut onions with nut paste and even T-shirts in white, pink, black and their classic green color (cost no more than a thousand lira per piece)

A magnificent place, the legendary confectionery of the Karaköy district, next to the promenade of the same name and Galataport. A kilo of lukum came out in ~ 700 lire with different flavors, I especially advise you to try lukum with baklava, it is very unusual and delicious. Accordingly, there are many different baklava, for every taste, beautiful boxes, look good and presentable. I highly recommend a place to visit and buy a couple of boxes of real lukum at home :)

Cafe-shop with Turkish sweets, baklava. There is a very large selection and the price is not cheap, unlike Tado. There are price lists, they sell both individually and kg. I'll pack everything in boxes and sachets. You can buy and drink coffee/tea on the spot. The cafe has two floors. There are a lot of locals and tourists. I advise you, the price /quality is excellent. Location beyond the Galata Bridge.

Probably the best baklava in the city. Baklava is always fresh, perfect in sweetness, impregnation and texture of the dough. There are a lot of people in the evening, do not be afraid if it seems that there is no place, because there is almost always a place on the second floor. The place also has a very pleasant interior with various installations on the theme of baklava.
