Up to 5, in my opinion, it does not reach. But 4 is solid
Positive: the staff is polite, you can almost always find a Russian speaker, they speak English perfectly, help if necessary / advise. We made compliments (tea/coffee/fresh) from the bar while waiting for the room. The rooms are clean, the cleaning is very good
Early settlement is not practiced
1. There are only two elevators to such a high-rise
2. We were in June - one elevator is under repair, it is impossible to leave from breakfast - sometimes the staff escorted the crowd through the service elevators - there is dirt/horror ... a 5-star hotel does not allow this exactly
3. The food is monotonous, but despite this, the "nationality" of the cuisine changed on the days of the week. Vegetables/salads made from fresh vegetables are often sour. Cheeses are few, fruits are also very few - maybe this is the specifics of the region ...
4. There is no beach / sunbeds / umbrellas. It is not obvious - is it possible to ask for a towel to lie, for example, on the beach
5. Plumbing is not new, everything is on 4ku
6. All the time of your stay, constant sounds from repairs are very loud, in the heat, when you want to sleep in the room - rumbling and knocking

The hotel is located across the street from the beach. It is very convenient to descend from the second floor, passing over the bridge over the road and going down to the side of the beach. I really liked the food. As I understand it, all rooms have a beautiful view of the bay. From my point of view, a very good price / quality ratio in this area. It is also convenient and close to the new Dubai Blue Waters area (Where the Ferris wheel is)

The overall impression is 4. The food is varied and delicious. But the hotel itself and the rooms are tired, although I would not say that it somehow interfered with the rest. The air conditioner worked either very cold, or nothing. Therefore, we lived without him, fortunately it was not very hot. 2 swimming pools, children's and adult. Small, but there was no pandemonium, there were always free sunbeds. The fly in the ointment is elevators. Sometimes it was impossible to leave with a baby carriage for 10 minutes. One day, the guard, seeing from the cameras that we were standing for a long time and could not leave, came for us in the service elevator. And then we went down in the service elevator several more times on our own. Well, let's face it, the guests coming out of the utility rooms looks like a 5-star hotel - not Ice. But it is clear that this is a design error, too few elevators have been made. But in general, everything was not bad. Will I return to this hotel? No! In my opinion, the 2nd or 3rd line is better, but for this money there will be a more modern hotel. But to each his own.

I again decided to pay a visit to the area of Dubai that I loved so much... Dubai Marina with its magnificent promenade and beach... and I didn't regret it at all... Well, first of all - undoubtedly an excellent wide and well-groomed beach with all household amenities and a bunch of cafes... secondly, the hotel is absolutely wonderful in its location with a convenient swimming pool and its access directly to the public beach ... about a hundred meters from the pool... and thirdly, the very high standards of the hotel rooms and restaurants themselves... Even on previous visits, I was always very pleased with the standards of the simplest rooms - from 35 to 40 meters... with a wonderful set of small household amenities (water, kettle, coffee, tea, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers... a large TV - which I never turned on ...). And for lovers of privacy, my advice is to take "club" rooms - on the 24th floor there is a completely wonderful club lounge with drinks and snacks, with an open huge balcony and a gorgeous view of the bay...

All rooms have sea views, although ordinary rooms with limited views (side, you can see the sea only from the balcony), there are superior rooms - there is a direct view, gorgeous sea and wheel

The problem with waiting for elevators - 3 elevators are extremely lacking, the waiting time for the elevator is on average 5-7 minutes. We walked up the stairs, but not all sports people will cause discomfort
The location of the hotel is the most gorgeous. Right on the first line near the main walking street, 100 meters to the beach a couple of minutes on foot. There is a tram stop nearby, far from the metro.
There is an outdoor pool on the 2nd floor with sun loungers, but there is no place on the beach! Towels are provided, and an umbrella for the beach is available for a fee. Sun beds on the beach are private - expensive!!! In general, I didn't like the beach very much - it was crowded, the water was dirty (because this bay water stagnates)
The rooms are clean without foreign odors, but the foundation is of course outdated, requires cosmetics, there are small shoals that are not critical. Cleaning and linen change regularly every day
The staff is very positive and friendly, no problems experienced. You can transfer breakfast from any day to the day of arrival. They check in before 14:00, at least we were already settled at 9 am!
The rooms have everything you need, take with you adapters for sockets, we have our sockets only in the hall by the balcony, bedside sockets of the local type.

I visited this hotel in September 2012, the first line, not a bad room stock, I had a room with a partial view of the Persian Gulf , the food in the restaurants is good , everything is delicious. I took half board , that 's enough . you can order wine in the evening , although the prices bite . So great for a family vacation.

We had a rest at the end of May! The hotel has an excellent location, a view of the Ferris wheel and a palm tree, a good number of rooms, varied and delicious food, a Russian-speaking girl Veronika at the reception, and the best and most cheerful lifeguard at the pool, Mohammed, speaks almost all languages, will cheer up your children, answer all questions! The Amwaj Rotana Hotel is the best thing that has happened to us in Dubai. We rested from 19.05.21-26.05.21. From the very moment of our arrival, notifying the reception about our birthday on May 23, we were upgraded to a suite with windows overlooking the bay and the Dubai eye wheel. A hotel employee at the reception named Shawki is a Russian-speaking, sympathetic, accommodating, smiling guy who settled all issues at the first call. The hotel is clean, cleaning every day, excellent food, responsive waiters. The location of the hotel is top. The beach is a few meters away, palm tree, metro, Marina, restaurants, shops, etc. A wonderful hotel that I will recommend to everyone. The only thing I would like to notice: take a brush with paste with you from soap and soap accessories, they are not given out. And the furniture is a little tired, BUT this is the only small flaw among the solid advantages. The hotel is a complete delight!!!
