As a frequent visitor to this eatery, I can confidently say that it has become my favorite place. I've been here over 30 times, and let me share my thoughts on the various food and drinks I've tried.
Starting with their special menu, the Fish Tawa is exceptional, and you can choose from a variety of fish options. It's a generous portion perfect for two people and highly recommended. The Seafood Tawa, with a mix of prawns, squid, and crabs, is deliciously spicy but could benefit from the inclusion of mussels.
The Dum Porotta was average for my taste, but the Kizhi Porotta is simply delightful. The Special Chicken Fry is a twist on a classic, and it's hands down the best chicken fry I've had - a must-have dish. For spicy lovers, I recommend the hidden gem, Kanthari Beef, which beautifully blends green kanthari (Tabasco pepper) and beef fry. It's both spicy and delicious, with no compromise on taste. One plate is good for 2-3 people.
From the regular menu, the Chicken Biryani has a rich flavor and is enjoyable. The Beef Biryani, however, is just average, while the Mutton Biryani stands out as the best biryani in the eatery and is a definite must-try.
When it comes to breakfast, most items range from okay to good, but unfortunately, the Appam is a letdown - the worst I've ever had. On the other hand, the Mutton Mappas is a delicious dish that's perfect for two people.
While the Mixed Grill didn't impress me much compared to other nearby joints, it's not bad either. It's worth trying to see if it suits your taste. As a south Indian restaurant, all the south Indian dishes here are good.
Moving on to desserts, the Glory is the highlight and a must-try. Among the juices, Ramadan and Ismail Mathar are average, but Abood and Falak are good choices.
Another recommendation is the Zinger Club sandwich, which is fantastic. However, I didn't enjoy the Mathafi version as much. Stick to the regular one for the best experience.
I'm personally not a fan of their milk coffee and Horlicks, but their Karak tea is good. The takeaway and delivery services are efficient and reliable.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and their welcoming smiles make every visit enjoyable. The ambiance is also pleasing, adding to the overall experience.
In conclusion, this eatery has become my go-to place at Burjuman. With its variety of dishes, friendly staff, and inviting ambiance, it's worth a visit. Just be sure to try the recommended items and discover your own favorites.
