We stopped by for lunch after an excursion to Lake Ritsa. Nicely.View of the river from the terrace and boxwood grove 👍 But😐 I only ate so badly when I was lying with poisoning in the Botkin hospital in St. Petersburg.🤕 Lamb pilaf - tough pieces of meat, apparently cooked separately, rice and carrots... But since I was on the tour bus in the morning, I had to eat. My daughter ordered trout royally... It sounds beautiful - it tastes a little better than a terrible pilaf... The garlic sauce saved the situation, without it they would hardly have been able to eat. And the appliances were brought in their hands, without any napkins or a kraft envelope... The price does not match the quality.

I read a lot of negative reviews and was honestly a little shocked, because I personally had positive impressions of this institution. By the way, I'm writing a couple of days later, and nothing has happened to my stomach. 02.01.2026 We were on a tour of Abkhazia, and they took us to eat at the Soyka cafe. I ordered Caucasian hodgepodge, hashlama and hominy with pickles. Everything was delicious, the pieces of meat were normal, they arrived quickly, I ate everything - I liked the food. The prices are certainly biting, I attach photos of some of the menu pages, otherwise I was satisfied. Maybe I was lucky, but my review is like this

We stopped by with an excursion for lunch. There were a lot of groups, so we had to wait. An interesting, colorful place, boxwoods, terraces above the river! Beautiful! Many people write about tasteless food, I didn't notice. It's normal for a roadside cafe. We had the foresight to take a bottle of wine at the previous stop, maybe it brightened up the experience.

It's an amazing place! Beautiful, colorful. We went there for breakfast and dinner one day. Delicious chicken noodle soup , pork kebab with plum sauce, closed khachapuri with cheese, fried suluguni cheese with adjika - very fresh! Children and adults ate heartily! Fast service. I highly recommend this cafe.

While I'm lying with poisoning, I decided to write a few words about this institution. In short: an institution that feeds Guides for free and then, after calculating the profit, gives away a portion in front of everyone. In more detail: we took an excursion to Lake Ritsa, I thought that there would be no tastings on the way, but that was not the case. We arrived at the first point with wine, took nothing and did not taste. You should have seen the guide's face. When we arrived at the lake, the guide said that it was unsanitary, and then I'll take you to a better place. Good…. We arrive at this institution. A huge territory, 0 people. From food: Borscht is cabbage soup with huge chunks of tough meat Macaroni and cheese- probably the cook chewed and spit it back out. (Heavily overcooked) Meat in Abkhaz style is more or less, but the portion is small. Tangerine juice- water was simply added to the pulp, there was no taste. In general, I advise the raging visitors, if the guide insists on this establishment, you either ask for another place where it's crowded, or it's better not to order anything. I wish you a speedy closure, and I went for treatment after visiting this place.

It's just a very good location. Excellent design of the territory itself. The staff is very pleasant. I read the reviews and am very surprised that they write about food. There were 6 of us, everyone took different things and shish kebab, hominy, fish, solyanka and meat in Abkhazian and everyone was quite satisfied with the food. The prices are not budget, this is a fact. I will not write that it was the best barbecue in my life, but it is quite delicious like everything else. Take local dishes and you will not lose. And a meal with such a view, in principle, cannot be bad. We liked everything except the lack of Wi - Fi . More precisely, he is, but we only found out about it at the exit.

We were here only because of a tour of the Golden Ring of Abkhazia. It was a terrible place, expensive, tasteless, the service was disgusting, there was one waitress for all our 10 tables, and when the food arrived, it was brought to us last, but our group had already eaten, we had to quickly eat this "food" and run. I don't understand the guides who, instead of bringing their tourists to a delicious and beautiful place on Lake Ritsa!!! They brought me to this diner.

Today we visited the Soyka Cafe. Very beautiful surroundings. Boxwood trees, mountain river. And that's where all the positives ended....A guide took us here for "breakfast" and offered to order lunch right away. We ordered Hashlama (it turned out to be the most edible dish), hominy with "pickles" - whoever tries it for the first time will never want it again, pickles are cabbage in Georgian and that's it! And the bean sauce. On the whole, it's disgusting. Borscht is a soup unknown to us in Abkhazia))) We didn't eat anything in the end. Drinks include compote and cognac. They didn't drink anything from the word at all. They gave 2,700 for all this. I do not advise you to make an order even with a guide. Buy somewhere on your Face, you will have a lot of time there.

Bad, very bad. We were taken to this place during a guided tour. I don't really have a choice, and what I have is tasteless. The pork kebab is disgusting, the pilaf is dry, and the tarragon turned out to be delicious. The potatoes were as if they had been cooked a few days ago.

A terrace with a very beautiful view of the river. There were no customers and the food arrived very quickly. It feels like it's been cooked for a long time and it's been warmed up a bit for us. It tastes disgusting. The first time I ate shish kebab, which sticks to my teeth like plasticine. The vegetable salad was like yesterday's, but they didn't eat it. The ear is cold and fresh. After that, it became clear why there was an empty parking lot when there was another restaurant just 300 meters away and the parking lot was completely full. Draw your own conclusions.

We were here, as were most of the visitors with a guided tour of the sights of Abkhazia. Well, what can I say, the place barely reaches 1 point. We were sitting at the end of the hall, so we couldn't see the beautiful view from this place, as many people write. Having been on the lookout for a "complimentary tea party with a bun" in advance, we decided to order simpler dishes for lunch that could not be spoiled, but we were unlucky here. We ordered two servings of chicken soup and a khachapuri boat. The liquid that was called soup was made from cheap boiled noodles, pieces of oak chicken that floated in oil! Cheap yellow carcinogenic oil. The khachapuri smelled unpleasant, apparently the cheese was cheap and not fresh. The dishes in this cafe deserve a separate item - they're covered in dirty stains and cracks. There's a dirty spoon in the shared sugar bowl. In general, I do not advise you to order anything here. We regret that we did not take sandwiches and tea on the tour, as we were hungry all day and suffered from heartburn (. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

I am sincerely surprised by such a large number of negative reviews. I did not plan to publish my impressions, but after reading the negative, I decided to write for the sake of justice We visited the cafe for the same reason as most tourists: the guide brings us for lunch after an excursion to the Ritz. I will omit the details of the tour - it's not about that. It is a very beautiful place, the territory is well maintained, the service is fast. The price tag, I think, is the lower limit of the average. I really, really liked the Caucasian solyanka. Honestly, I've never tried such a hodgepodge before (I note that I often order this soup in different places - I just love it) My husband ate grub, and was also satisfied. The vegetable salad is fresh and large. The egg boat is also not bad (we are not trying it for the first time) The trout on the grill turned out perfectly. At the end of lunch, we came to the conclusion that it was the most enjoyable part of the trip, apart from the magnificent views. I recommend the place.

We were on an excursion to the island of Ritsa, we brought food there, the child was given an expired portion of mashed potatoes, there is no substitute or wait until it is cooked. The service is low, and the owner is not happy with everything, for example, that the payment was made via mobile banking, not in cash.

This is a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the canyon. They have a cool track that makes great photos. There is also a very beautiful boxwood grove nearby, and a river below. The menu is standard, there's probably a lot of choice, but I didn't order anything there. We stop there often on the way to Rizza for a photo.

We stopped by on 03.01.2026 for dinner after the tour on the recommendation of the guide. The decor is expensive and rich, but expensive and not tasty. Poor service for which they charge 10%, so for example, they brought 3 mugs to a teapot with tea, and there were 4 visitors, but they brought compote that was not ordered. The worst institution in the whole of Abkhazia.

The location is top, the views are very beautiful. but! Food is just a name. They wanted a lamb shish kebab, but the waitress warned them that it was tough. We ordered pork. You can't even call it a barbecue. The meat is tough, has no taste from the word at all. And this is a vaunted Caucasian barbecue. It's been a long time waiting for an order. This attitude of 1 institution spoils the overall impression of the whole country as a whole. If you came there with an excursion, you're out of luck. Limit yourself to a boat or khachapur. Do not order trout or shish kebab.

Yes, the views are beautiful, but the food just doesn't feel right. Homemade fried potatoes are raw pieces of potatoes deep-fried in oil. The inside is still raw, the outside is fat. Meat hodgepodge: it tastes like grub, there are no cucumbers or olives, zero sourness. Of the ordered tea, only the tea is normal. The food is terribly tasteless, I do not recommend it. In the photo, potatoes and pickle..

A bowl of fish soup for 400 rubles includes water (not broth, just water), a whole potato (not chopped), a piece of trout, one ring of carrots and about the same size piece of bell pepper. Is it delicious? No. Is it worth it? No. It's better when you're given time to tour the ritz, eat something there. This establishment makes clients for itself purely by agreement with the guides.

We stopped by for lunch during the tour with the whole group. I didn't eat anything there, on the advice of other visitors, I just ordered tea, I didn't ask for sugar, but they brought it, and I'm attaching a photo of the sugar bowl. Looking at the other tables, the food looked quite edible, the orders were just waiting a long time. I noticed that the waiter was carrying the dishes in his hand, holding the tray in parallel, it looked terrible. It is quite beautifully equipped inside and has a good view of the mountain river, gorge., only for this 2 stars In general, I do not recommend eating there.

We stopped at this cafe as part of a tour of Abkhazia in the hope of a delicious lunch in a hospitable atmosphere. Expectations were not fulfilled. At first, we were seated at uncomfortable long tables with narrow aisles between them. The order was accepted only ten minutes later. Then we reminded the waiters several times about our order. The waiters, of course, without any uniforms. After an hour of waiting, we received our order: tasteless pilaf with crumbled pieces of meat, tea in a dirty glass, more or less edible sleds and garlic sauce. Due to such a long service, our tour group was very late in this place. The price of the dishes is like in a good cafe, but without a single quality characteristic of a good cafe. Initially, a good impression of Abkhazia was greatly spoiled as a result of visiting this institution. I advise owners to think about it. For tourists who plan to visit this place after the Ritz, I recommend looking for a place to have lunch at the Ritz - at least there are options there.

We were on a voluntary and compulsory tour. The service was disgusting, the table had to be wiped three times, it was useless. There's no barbecue. Hominy is white, with a taste of semolina, not corn. In khachapuri, the cheese was so over-dried that it was practically absorbed into the dough from the loaf. The pilaf (greasy from butter with one piece of meat) was brought in a tiny bowl, similar to a dog bowl. The only delicious dish is solyanka, but not classic, but reminiscent of goulash. Two stars for her and a gorgeous view of the river from the second floor

Absolutely terrible kitchen. If an excessively high price can be somehow understood and justified, then the quality of the dishes defies any justification. For example, khachapuri costs 500 rubles for 200 grams, a very small portion. And for this money you will get tasteless dough and cheese of very poor quality. Meat in Abkhazian-it is stated that the portion weight is 300 grams, but it is far from the case) Pork is hard to spoil, but they did it. The meat is not tasty, with huge chunks of fat. The kebab was not bad, a solid three, but again the price will surprise you unpleasantly. Of the advantages, only the location is a very beautiful place, but on the other hand, where is it ugly in Abkhazia?) I want to note that the review is written on the basis of several visits. In general, if you are traveling in a group, ask the guide to take you to another place - spoiler: he will not agree. Among the guides, it is clearly distributed which places to "recommend" to tourists

We have been here twice: first we were brought for "breakfast", then we returned for lunch. Breakfast: tea and a bun. Lisma tea from a tea bag. The bun feels like the day before yesterday. Not fresh, but spiced, with raisins and sugar on top. The lunch is very, very tasteless. There was more or less a boat with an egg. The salad, borscht, kharcho, pasta, trout, and potatoes were disgusting. There was also meat in Abkhaz, too, normal, but in the end I came across a piece of sponge for dishes. I told the administrator about it. He said "Sorry" dryly and was not surprised at all and did not smooth out the moment in any way. The prices are high. Tip: if you are going on an excursion here, it's better to just take tea with khachapuri, the rest of the time, when everyone is still eating, take a picture against the background of boxwoods, rivers, sculptures. You can eat somewhere else. Don 't come here of your own free will !!!

I agree with most of the reviews - a beautiful place and a bad attitude towards tourists, apparently especially to those who are on tour, because they are practically force-fed there) But for such a beautiful place, the food and service don't pull at all. We had trout with vegetables-the baked tomatoes were obviously rotten, sour, i.e. they are fed with spoiled products, then you can not even say anything. This is the country of the soul, it's good that at least not all Abkhazians treat tourists this way. If tourists are annoying, then why develop this area at all...do not make tours, close hotels and tourists will immediately become fewer. Turks probably don't like tourists very much either, but they realize that this is a source of income for their country, a contribution to its development, so they try to show hospitality and work.

The cafe is located among the most beautiful mountains along the route to Lake Ritsa. The place is wonderful. The owners of the cafe have wonderfully equipped the territory. Here, above the mountain river, there is a glass bridge: in front of the mountains , under the feet of the river - it is impossible to forget! Everything is beautiful: terraces , comfortable furniture , territory, gazebos ... But "meat in Abkhazian".... How can you spoil such a dish - I was surprised and the coffee is so-so..... But to walk around the territory, admire the trout fountain, walk along the glass bridge, breathe the boxwood air - it's worth stopping by.

We drove there on the way to an excursion to the island of Ritsa. The guide said that we would be treated to tea and a bun here, and this is included in the price of the tour, and that we definitely need to make a reservation for lunch here. After looking at the dirty tables and an inedible bun from the day before yesterday, we said that we would have lunch somewhere else, there are probably a lot of cafes on the island of Ritsa. To which the guide and the driver began to convince us that this was a proven place, that we could get poisoned in other places, etc. (they are clearly in cahoots with the cafe owners and have their share of bringing poor naive tourists here). Since we were with children, we succumbed to persuasion, did not want to take risks. And very unnecessarily. There are really a lot of decent cafes on the Ritz upstairs, we went in and saw that people were eating quite decent food. And on the way back we stopped at the ill-fated Jay for lunch. We ordered rustic potatoes and some kind of Ossetian pie with cheese. I do not know how you can cook potatoes like that. It was a little fried in some kind of smelly fat, and it was raw inside! and that's not all, it was heated in the microwave!!! (We were sitting so that we could see the kitchen very clearly and saw with our own eyes how all the food was heated in the microwave). A normal dog owner would not give such food! Naturally, we didn't eat any of it, all the food was left on the table practically untouched. And you know, they charged us a lot of money for that. When they were paying at the checkout, there was a man with an arrogant face, maybe it was the owner of this place. My husband wanted to say something to him, but I stopped him. She said it was clear from him that he had heard all this more than once and he didn't care, the main thing was that the guides regularly brought tourists to them and he made a profit. There was no glimmer of conscience on his face. I told my husband: let's not spoil our mood even more, just write a review about this institution. Judging by the reviews, everyone has the same impression. Maybe if tourists refuse to visit them and they start to suffer losses, they will somehow change their attitude. After all, the place is really stunningly beautiful, and if there was a normal owner there, I think people wouldn't have to be lured through guides.

Aluminum devices. The pitch is poor. The royal trout consists of a "royal feed": half a cucumber and a tomato are sliced along the edges. Solyanka with tender meat, kharcho soup with bones. NEVER DINE HERE!!! We were taken to this "wonderful amazing picturesque beautiful place" during a tour of Abkhazia, first for breakfast (something between a Sverdlovsk puff and bread, cheap tea in a bag), and offered to order lunch immediately. when we bought the tour, the realizer praised this cafe very sincerely, so we agreed. we chose shish kebab, grilled trout, salad "Parisian" and vegetable. and it was such a sooooo trash!! I would never have thought that Abkhazians could cook shish kebab so badly - it was hard, dead, and cut with great difficulty. It's like they fried it three weeks ago, forgot it on the table, then took it and heated it in the microwave. trout are tasteless, fresh, watery, and also died a long time ago. serving is generally a fire: micro-plates, from which everything jumps out, runs away when you cut (especially wooden pieces of shish kebab). fried potatoes are not tasty. But the cherry on the cake is salads! is it possible to spoil a vegetable salad with sour cream?? The answer is YES! Parisian - vegetables with cherished cheese, which stank of the refrigerator (is it really so difficult to store food properly?). vegetable - with sour cream, which was so thick that it lay in lumps. it is not only impossible to do this, but also terrible for the consequences. the total bill is 2 thousand rubles. we did not short-count - at least thanks for that)) A separate kind of art is the toilet. more precisely, the Genoa bowl, it's a hole in the floor. Are you serious?? that is, you have a lot of halls, banquets, feasts, and a normal toilet is not provided - do guests have to squat down?? Do you live in the Stone Age? in general, the place is terrible! even despite the picturesque location, I do not recommend it.

Beautiful location with views of the mountains and the river, well-groomed and picturesque territory. But at the same time, disgusting food spoils the whole impression, it feels like the pig from which the barbecue was made was a long-lived and died a natural death, and found its peace a long time ago. The salads are terrible, the ingredients were obviously stored incorrectly, the cheese was smoked, the sour cream was in lumps.

I ordered a barbecue and beer, the beer was warm, it's impossible to eat a barbecue, it's made of rubber. When they came to pay, they said everything at the checkout about food and beer, they just brazenly closed the window in front of us and didn't want to listen.I haven't eaten anything, and I don't recommend it to you.

We brought them to this cafe when we were on an excursion. The place is very picturesque, the advantages end there. The declared pastry, which was included in our breakfast, turned out to be a salty bun with raisins, sprinkled with powdered sugar on top. We waited a long time for lunch, ordered khachapuri nart, it tasted and looked more like an Ossetian pie. I do not recommend visiting (
