The Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross. It was built of wood in 1788-89 by the foundation of Prince Stanislav Radziwill and his wife Karolina, designed by architect John Padchashinsky. There was a parish school and a hospital attached to the church. In architecture, it is an example of folk architecture with features of classicism. The temple was active all the time and was not closed even under Soviet rule. There are 4 altars inside. The main and two side panels form a single composition. On the left, in the chapel of the transept, there is an altar with an icon of the Mother of God, revered as miraculous. It has been preserved since the last church.

The Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross, which stands in the center of the village of Zhirmuna, had two predecessors at once, and both suffered a sad fate. The church inherited an ancient organ from one of them. The wooden building, which can be seen today, dates back to 1789. Already in the 19th century, the ensemble was complemented by a wooden bell tower and a stone fence, the main element of which is an impressive frame. The architectural appearance is dominated by the features of classicism. The facade, decorated with a portico, attracts attention. It is supported by two brick columns. It is also worth paying attention to the arched windows: this decorative element is more typical for stone temples. A small octagonal tower stands above the main entrance.

An interesting wooden temple. I didn't plan to stop initially, but changed my mind when I saw it. The temple is also beautiful inside.
