Poor quality hotel with dirty walls, partly painted with other shade of walls colour, yet very dirty in other parts. Lots of dust everywhere. Horrible , cold breakfast with almost no food. Lots of flys in the dinning room. The location is really convinient near airport and train station

Shosh Modern was a very comfortable hotel with beautiful decor. We were very impressed upon arrival. The staff was welcoming and friendly, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very generous and diverse. The wifi worked well! Highly recommend!

An amazing hotel, especially considering the cost of accommodation (1,900 rubles per day for two with breakfast)! Spacious, bright rooms and bathrooms, comfortable mattresses on which you sleep like a baby! Breakfast is the same every day, but very varied and satisfying, polite staff! Ideal for guests arriving at Tashkent's South Railway Station (5-7 minutes on foot) or who need this area, the airport can be reached by taxi in 7-8 minutes for a nominal amount, but it will be a long way to the center.

It was pretty clean, every day while we were out of the room, the maid did the cleaning, updated the kits (shampoo, gel, soap and toothbrushes, pastes), towels, put bottles of water. There is also a kettle, cups and tea in the room. It was very nice that everything was working in the bathroom, the hot water was hot, there were no bad smells. The hotel is next to the railway tracks and if the windows do not face the entrance facade, then you can hear the passing trains. But we were so tired in the competition that it didn't bother us. I really liked the bed with comfortable mattresses and good linens. A comfortable set of furniture. The staff is polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was the same, but delicious, thanks to the chefs! After the competition, our team went home, and we stayed for another day. We found another hotel closer to the center, but we regretted it, because the Shosh Modern was much better and more comfortable. So next time we will choose it.

The furniture is not old, the room and bed linen are clean, although repairs are required. The windows are dirty and won't close tightly, hence the noise from the road. The curtains are the size of the windows, and you won't be able to darken the street lighting. The staff is polite and hospitable, breakfast for 4+

Hotel quite far from the city center but a stone's throw from the train station and a small shopping center and not too far from the airport. The noise is very loud, but by closing the window, we could sleep. Correct room, functional bathroom, nothing more, pleasant staff. There is an elevator to the floors and the breakfast was ok too. I would say that there is a good value for money.

Cons: windows facing the highway, very noisy, need earplugs. The bed was not fresh, there was a smell of someone else's perfume and hair on the sheets. There is a smell of sewage in the toilet, it is better to keep the door closed. Advantages: close to the airport and railway stations. Not a bad breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel with my family on September 25-27, 2025. I usually don't bother writing reviews, because I'm not particularly picky and prefer not to spoil my vacation mood! But this is a "temporary location", I can't help but comment in the hope that future travelers will think 10 times before choosing this hotel, and whether it is worth considering this hotel as a stopover (even for one night). I can't bring myself to give this hotel a score higher than 2! Quite a lot of travel experience and there is something to compare it with! In my opinion, even a run-down hotel in some "shabby" European town (without any stars at all) will seem exemplary compared to this "miracle"! Minuses: 1. The room at the entrance to the hotel was not prepared: there was no linen for a folding bed, and when it arrived, it turned out to be dirty and not ironed + they did not even bother to put a pillowcase on the pillow. I had to demand a change of linen and bring the missing pillowcase. The duvet cover was tucked inside out. 2. The folding sofa is in terrible condition: broken, dirty + dirt under it! In the morning, my back was splitting from this "couch." 3. Basic slippers and tea were not in the room until I requested these supplies from the staff. 4. The number of towels provided did not match the number of guests who entered the room (one set was missing). In addition, they were not white, but rather gray-beige and hard to the touch, no one was stroking them. 5. Breakfast was disgusting: not only was serving food more associated with being in a pigsty, but it was difficult to call it food! The plates of cheese and sausage were half wrapped in cellophane. Something resembling dessert was just piled up, and the fruit looked like it hadn't been washed at all! The tomatoes were sliced with a camping knife or even scissors along the way, so that any appetite disappeared when looking at them. We were shocked by the way the dishes were served, and I'm interested to see the hostess who did it all and cooked it. If I were the owner of the hotel, I would rip off the hands of the hotel staff (administrator) for setting the serving area in such a way that the dishes are hidden from the guest in the cupboards under the food (I have never seen such a cringe anywhere). I asked them to clear the table, because there were no more empty, clean tables! The employee cleaned up all the dishes, but it didn't even occur to him to wipe the dirt and crumbs off the table! All the hot dishes (porridge, fried eggs, fried sausages) were cold. The boiler with hot water was standing in water that dripped from its faucet, and the container for collecting it was overflowing, and until I made a remark to Steph, he did not even hurry to empty it of the liquid that had overflowed it. If there had been a short circuit, someone would have been hurt for sure! Safety precautions are on the "two". Positive: 1. Proximity to the airport + price. I chose the hotel based on the reviews on the booking, which was undeservedly rated as "excellent" at 9.1 points. This is pure lies and it seems that the hotel staff asked those who wrote reviews on booking to leave a positive review. The deluxe room provided to me can be classified as super economy/minimum standard! It is also worth noting that upon arrival at the hotel reception, I was offered to cancel my booking so that I could save on taxes for the hotel. In this regard, I was allegedly given a discount of $ 15 (I still did not understand where this figure came from), but unfortunately, this led to the fact that now I cannot leave an eloquent review on booking for this hotel. But I intend to bring the matter to its logical conclusion and I will definitely bring my review to booking. To sum up: if the owner of the hotel is not indifferent to the fate of his hotel and the profit from this business, I would recommend purging the ranks of his staff, giving them a good "kick" for such low-quality/unprofessional work (I apologize for the mate, but I just can't find any other words). As a guest of this "hotel", I was ashamed to look at the reaction of tourists from China or Japan (I constantly confuse them) when they were moved into the room, which I witnessed! It seemed that they had their eyes bulging from such a "service" of the staff and the room they were moving into! I am amazed at the limited thinking of the hotel staff, who cannot think of basic things, calculating the needs of the guest in advance, creating at least the appearance of hospitality and customer orientation. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND staying at this hotel, especially for those who somehow care about their comfort!!! It is better to overpay 20-50 dollars, but stay in a more decent place. Otherwise, there is a risk that you will spoil your own impression of such a bright, positive and unique city as Tashkent!

The hotel is great, I liked everything) but in the morning it smells very strongly of food, especially oil. I lived on the second floor, but the smell of oil in the hallway was like I was next to the kitchen. I think it can be fixed. Fortunately, the staff is polite, it's definitely worth giving 5 stars. It's a pity I couldn't take a nice picture of everything, the hotel is really beautiful and comfortable, especially the mattress, very soft, slept like a child)

The promises of the brochure do not correspond to reality: there is no question of any beautiful view. The hotel is located far away, surrounded on one side by a noisy highway, on the other by a railway. You need to get to breakfast within 30 minutes, otherwise there is nothing to have breakfast with. The staff has long black hair on the floor of the room.One of the advantages is a clean, comfortable bed and the same towels.

February 2025, one day in transit. Very convenient location. You can walk from the southern railway station and take a taxi to the airport in 15 minutes. The room is clean and warm. The dining room is small, it's better to come early.

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights. The price was considered good as a performance, but even though the windows were closed, the noise could be heard outside. But it was all right.
