The Chor-Bakr necropolis is one of the most beautiful and visited places in Bukhara, founded back in the Samanid era. There is an unusual place not far from the city in the village of Sumitan. The architecture is mainly of the XVI century, built by Abdullahan II. Not only locals and other travelers come here. Clean, cozy, comfortable. There is even a small zoo where it is possible to see an ostrich, peacock, etc. The most interesting thing here is to feed pigeons and take pictures. In general, an interesting place. Recommend

This place shook me to the core. It is a place of pilgrimage for Muslims from all over the world. We were there as tourists, walked through the entire complex, looked into some open graves, it was a pity that there was no one to conduct an excursion, since it was time for general prayer. There is a dovecote on the territory with tame birds that are not afraid of people. Pigeons are beautiful, purebred, and have been admiring them for a long time.

For me, this place is the most peaceful.. So quiet, calm. Time seems to freeze when you are in the necropolis. A very large necropolis, like a city, only here people who will remain in the past have found their eternal rest. Rich, ancient history. Burials, drawings and inscriptions on tombstones are amazing as a separate art form. Oh yes, and animals)) like a mini zoo, peacocks, chickens, pigeons, ostrich. I highly recommend you to visit 👍

We were lucky, we met the muezzin of the local mosque, who told us about the history of this place and its current life. Such a positive, radiant person! He sang to us the beginning of the call to prayer of Muslims, which he announces from the minaret. He gave his pigeons to feed from his hand. He told about the employee of the archaeological expedition - a Russian woman, thanks to whom the dates and names of the spiritual figures and representatives of the ruling clans buried here were restored, about the honor and respect with which he personally treats her.

Большая действующая мечеть и кладбище. В мечеть мы не попали, был рамазан и неверных туда не пускали, по кладбищу пройтись было интесно, способ погребения у узбеков совсем другой. Многие могилы уже разрушены, видимо родственники или сами умерли, или уехали. Отдельно рекомендую посетить туалет, там он называется - умывальня, это отдельный объект на входе, такого туалета я нигде не встречал, это Сандуны среди туалетов! Не пожалейте времени, съездить.

Удивительное место, недалеко от Бухары, легко доехали на такси и уехали обратно. Народу нет, можно спокойно гулять, очень красиво. Есть павлины, совушки, даже страусы.. необычно)

Это прямо разрыв сердечка для нас! Приехали после обеда, туристов не было от слова совсем. Очень медитативно и приятно было находиться, часа 2 гуляли без экскурсии, остались очень довольны). Ну и конечно впечатлили павлины, свободно гуляющие в этом городе мертвых. Курочек и зайчика в вольере можно покормить травкой, наличие страусов удивило)

Одна из удаленных достопримечательностей города. После того, как все посмотрели в центре - прокатитесь на такси и посмотрите старый некрополь. Захоронения ведут свою историю с 10 века, а современный облик место приобрело в 17 в.

Удивительно спокойное место. Считается, что это место самый большой некрополь в средней Азии.Рядом есть маленький прудик где плавает белоснежный лебедь, в клетке очаровательный павлин, а если пройти дальше можно встретить ручных голубей

Вход был платным 10 взрослый,5 ребенок. Туалет 2тыс сум. Возможно с насвзяли деньги видя,что мы туристы,ибо ценников мы не увидели нигде.. место спокойное. Для общего развития посетить рекомендую.
