My family and I stayed in the apartments of this hotel this time. The choice of apartments was made exclusively according to the pictures and description on the website. In reality, it's not like that at all. According to the description, we should have had a clothes dryer, there was none. The room is damp and cold, because the floor and walls are made of stone, centralized air conditioners are constantly working. The light in the room is very dim, the TV periodically freezes and restarts closer to 12 o'clock in the morning. Whatsapp only worked on messages, call or video does not work.
According to the service: every time we forgot to leave something after cleaning, then there was not the right amount of towels, then toilet paper, then disposable glasses. And another problem is the lack of hooks for towels. I do not know, maybe it only happened to us, but first our bed was broken, then the sink flowed, then the toilet flowed.
Generally not a fountain. During my stay, I always experienced an unpleasant smell of sewage, I thought it was pulling from the toilet, later I found a manhole in the center of the kitchen on the floor between the sink and the cooking islands. That was the smell coming out of him. I had to close this hatch with what was at hand.

The territory is large, but there are few playgrounds for families with young children, little lighting in the evenings as soon as you move away from the central alley. The decor and design are for an amateur, they lived in a building where everything is finished with stone. Room cleaning for 3, towels were not changed, tea and coffee were not suppressed. There is something to compare, we rested in Kampinsky, liked it more.

We were here in March 2019, a family with a child. In comparison with Atlantis, Waldorf and Rixos, all from the palm tree, we liked the sofitel the most! There is a large green area here, the food here is both varied and delicious! I especially remember ice cream, I am an adult with a sweet tooth for 33 years and I bought it several times a day, I still remember this taste! We will definitely come to sofitel again. A comfortable pool, you can swim and carefully hide in the shade and just have fun! Russian Russian children's club is also there, the downside is that there are no Russian-speaking animators, although there are a lot of Russian children as always! And the air conditioning system in the nursery is not thought out, it blows and it's cold from the air conditioner, they would put special screens and the air conditioner would blow up and cool and without snot! The location on the palm tree makes it inconvenient to leave the palm tree, but spending 10 or 20 minutes in the car does not cause much discomfort. No one was remembered separately from the staff, but there were no problems, everything was at a pleasantly decent level.

That's the end of our journey into a fairy tale. The hotel is good in every way. We arrived late in the evening, while we were making out, we drank coffee and in 5 minutes we were already in room 2202. Cleaning, change of towels, daily. There are Russian-speaking employees at the reception and in restaurants. The food in the restaurants is excellent. You can choose any of the 6 restaurants, we had breakfast and dinner, but dinner, if necessary, can be moved to lunch. In the Manava restaurant, all-inclusive meals are served. There are plenty of free places and towels on the beach and in the pools. We are satisfied with the work of Anex tour. Have a good holiday in the Emirates

The hotel and apartments are located at a distance from each other, which is very convenient, there are fewer people. There are water slides and entertainment for children on the water. The food is good, it's better to take ai, the bar is insanely expensive. There is no alcohol. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean, large. The price is higher than the market. It is best to relax with a family, the place is not a party. Hint: there is alcohol in the neighboring hotel on the right, if you face the sea. A cigarette and soda shop is a 5-minute walk away.

I will start my review by checking in (checking in) at the hotel. Get ready for additional expenses in the form of a tourist tax per day of stay in Dubai (for those who are new). At the reception, during registration, I clarified the details of my stay at the hotel. The information was given incompletely or completely unreliable.
After registration, we were escorted to our room with a mini tour of the hotel - that's what I see and say.
We were not informed where the nearest exits to the beach or pool are (spoiler alert - there are none, you always have to go through the main lobby), changing room ... we had to look for everything. We figured it out on the third day.
The main shock of the first day is the paid water (!) for lunch and dinner. I read similar reviews before the trip, so when checking in at the reception they clarified this information, we were told that all drinks are paid, except water. They exhaled until the bill for 30 dirhams (750₽) for a 750ml bottle of plain water was brought to the buffet. The next few days, when you came to dinner with a baby bottle of water for children, the waiters took the glasses off the table and looked at you very askance. For me, what is included in the price in the morning, for dinner 30 AED for a bottle of water is too much.
Let's go further…
Room cleaning: The dust was wiped once in 2 weeks. Tips do not affect the quality of cleaning, it only affects the fact that in the late afternoon a housekeeper will knock on your door and offer additional water (by default it is 2 750ml bottles) and if they are satisfied with tips, then wait for a couple of chocolates. Replenishment of tea / coffee is probably at the discretion of the cleaners, coffee will be replenished, cream will not be replenished or vice versa.
Meal.
The buffet (breakfast/dinner) is not bad, but it does not compare with a lower-level hotel (Ajman hotel ex. Kempinski) - Sofitel palm Dubai falls short. On the day of departure, we learned that if you want berries, red fish for breakfast or ice cream for dinner, then you need to ask and they will bring you (no one talked about this).
The feeling that you need to beg for your own money, then add water to the room, then food…
Dinners are held in restaurants according to the menu (aperitif, main course and dessert for one person), which must be pre-booked through a buggy application. Then they stopped booking- they started coming in for lunch just like that. But still, sometimes the hostess stopped at the entrance and had to wait for an empty table, although it was clear that the hall was half empty.
The main restaurant is the Italian World eatery. On days when there is a paid lunch-brunch in this restaurant, then you are offered to go to the "fish" restaurant Moana. In Moana, there are inadequate dishes in the children's menu - such as a pan of fried vegetables with mushrooms and meat. The food is sometimes too salty, sometimes very spicy. The Indian restaurant - Maui was not even visited, very specific cuisine.
In addition, you can replace the buffet dinner with dinner at any of these restaurants, plus there are additional evening restaurants.
The beach is a bit dirty. We met a plastic fork, endless cigarette butts, bags. There are a lot of shell fragments, the sand feels like construction, unpleasant, a lot of ants. The umbrellas are old and dirty.
Excellent pools: heated water, different depth levels, there is a pool with two small slides. There are 4 pools in total - the main one, a children's pool with slides, a pool in the children's club- a paddling pool and a pool next to the apartments - with a waterfall and a paddling pool.
A good kids' club - you can safely leave your child for a few hours and you will be sure that they are engaged with him. The main condition is that parents must stay at the hotel, every 2 hours you will be informed what is wrong with the child.
The best impression was left from visiting the Spa. There is a sauna, a hammam, an amazing massage, a hydro pool, a font with cold water, a large swimming pool and a relaxation room. The spas for men and women are separate, the park locations are shared. Very thoughtful changing rooms, there is even a dryer for wet clothes. In a word, it's amazing. I recommend it!
They offer L'oxitan products. The price is much higher than on the website. There are also products in the rooms, but not in miniatures, but in large bottles that are filled during cleaning.
The promenade for walking is adjacent to the trendy Laguna bar, from where deranged drunk visitors often fall out. At the same time, the windows of some rooms overlook the lagoon, where loud parties often take place.
Our wishes to the hotel are to introduce a children's entertainment program, which does not exist at all. To remove the party pathos from the family hotel! You have 90% of visitors with children, come up with something!
The hotel has a cool Polynesian concept, which you can only learn about after living for a week or two. Why not tell the guests about it right away.

We have been to many hotels in Dubai, including the Palm Tree. But the Softener is the best! Beautiful territory, great rooms and the view from them! Great food, especially Steak House! Try a leg of mutton, lick your fingers! Portia, that's enough for two! The beach is huge and there is such a thing, in the morning and in the evening the current smoothly carries along the beach like a lazy river! Super sensations and Relaxation!

I sincerely do not understand why this hotel is so praised. We planned to stay for 2 weeks, spend a vacation in a nice hotel and got the following: upon arrival, we saw that the beach was completely dug up, excavators and tractors were driving, from the noise of which it was impossible to be even on the balcony (at the same time, no one warned us about this, even when checking in, we found out about it only when we went out on the balcony in our room). A very rude, poorly speaking English girl at the reception - it was not clear what she was saying, and I constantly asked again, to which she rudely answered me that she did not speak Russian)))) Then it's better: the pool is full, it's just hot, you swim like in soup. Everything is completed by paid water at 60 dirhams per bottle for paid dinners, I am generally silent about alcohol prices. No entertainment, concerts, movies, yoga - there is nothing. Among the advantages - the room is old, but cute, the food is delicious and varied.

Each service has to be requested several times. The staff is not very educated and do not understand very well what the guest wants. Yes, they bow a lot and are very polite. But misunderstanding and complete lack of information (there is no information in the room about the hotel, hotel restaurants, spa, excursions, etc., all the information must go and get: milking 5 stars is strange) - all this creates additional inconveniences.
I do not understand the admiration for the presence of slippers, in my opinion, it is not normal when they are not there.
The restaurants cook delicious, but they NEED to be booked! And no one will tell you about this at the reception, you will learn everything only with your own experience, that is, if you come hungry to eat, you may be refused. They can also lose your reservation and just not let you into the restaurant))).
The sea is not very beautiful, but it is there, there are enough sunbeds, there is service on the beach.
Of the pros: the hotel is quiet, there is everything at a minimum, for discerning tourists it may seem "chic"
