Great hotel. The rooms are no worse than foreign ones. They clean it every day. Everything is clean inside. The breakfasts are delicious, you can order an omelet and scrambled eggs separately. Coffee for a fee. There is no pool, there is a sauna for a fee, you need to order an hour in advance. There is a balcony with an urn for smokers. There is a constant noise of sewage in the apartment on the 5th floor. I like it when the room is bright, I had enough light in the room, it's hot in the room, there is air conditioning. It's even hotter on the ground floor in the bathroom. There is also free water in the room, everything in the refrigerator is charged with a price, but the refrigerator does not work.

The rooms are clean, not ruined yet. However, for 3 days (2 nights + early check-in), cleaning has never been carried out, bathroom accessories and water have not been updated. The breakfasts were quite good, and coffee was provided on request from a coffee machine. I lived on the 5th floor, there was a constant noise. The hotel is nice, the room is lovely, clean, spacious, there are necessary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, towels. The bed is comfortable, the curtains are blackout, I slept great. There is a kettle, tea bags, two bottles of water. No coffee. Breakfast is quite sufficient, there are fruits, berries, sweets. The staff is polite. So I recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel. Not the newest, but trying to maintain the "brand". The rooms, at least where I was, are spacious, for me, it's even unnecessary. The air conditioner had a life of its own. Perhaps because of my drowsiness, I was unable to master it. It cooled to 15 degrees, then stopped at 24. Periodically it began to make sounds of faulty plumbing and switch to the sound mode of the "tractor". Breakfast is a buffet. It's not a bad choice, though you need to ask for an omelet or scrambled eggs to be cooked - they will be fresh, but you have to wait. The elevator is also quirky. The buttons do not always work on the floors and in order to be guaranteed to leave, it is necessary to hold the door closing button until the start of movement. The staff is qualified, friendly, and does their job. After living in the room for almost two weeks, suddenly, moving without slippers in his socks, he stepped on something that strongly resembled the remains of rose thorns. It is unlikely that they were brought in on purpose, rather they were swept out of some corner where they remained from previous guests. Despite the above disadvantages, in general I liked it and, of course, there are much more advantages. It can also be called a disadvantage of the location: there is a medical college nearby and crowds of young, beautiful individuals of the opposite sex roam the street. Distracting ). Winter impressions: Due to the large glazing (almost the entire wall), the heating system, the base is a heating air conditioner, does not cope well (it is possible that I was so lucky, but it is unlikely). In the room, at a temperature outside of about minus 10, to put it mildly, it is cool. Especially at night and in the morning. The warmest place is the shower/toilet. There's a warm floor, sort of.

You will like the hotel 100%! It can give a head start to many hotels in Almaty and Astana!! It is located in the city center. My room was great! Clean and cozy with daily room cleaning. Breakfasts with a good selection. Everything is fresh. Tea for breakfast will be brought to you separately! You can note the attentiveness and responsibility of Sabina's girlfriend. When I asked for tea with lemon, she asked: Do you want tea or separately? These little things seem to say a lot!! This attitude of the staff towards the guests increases the status of the hotel! The documents were prepared in a timely manner. I had an early check-out and despite the fact that breakfast starts at 07 am, I was offered to bring it to the room by 06.30! When visiting Shymkent next time, I know exactly where to stay, this is Megapolis Hotel Shymkent!!

This hotel has three significant advantages: location, restaurant and huge, spacious rooms. The food itself is really delicious, the portions are huge, the cook is trying very hard. Disadvantages: the hotel management needs to seriously reconsider the issue of the smoking ban policy - the bathrooms smell unrealistically of smoke, and violators, apparently, do not think to fine. Smoking in the rooms is unacceptable and severely damages the reputation of the hotel. Also, the work of the staff in some cases leaves much to be desired. For example, you order room service from their restaurant in advance, but they don't bring it because they "forgot". How do you like that?

The supply of bottled water is updated daily. The beds are soft and comfortable, the bed linen is snow-white and fresh. The most important thing is that smoking is not allowed in the rooms, and therefore there is no foreign smell. For smokers, there are rooms with balconies - this is a huge plus! And what kind of breakfasts are there...Mmm, if you're on pp or vegan, you won't stay hungry. And if you eat everything in a row like me, then for breakfast you can taste both a light first and second, and salad and pastries, fruits / vegetables / nuts / porridge and compote! The staff is polite and smiling, nowadays when sincere emotions are worth their weight in gold, the smile of a stranger is an invaluable gift!
