The architectural monument, with more than a century of history, has been preserved in good condition, and it has survived several very strong earthquakes that leveled almost all the buildings in the city, and it has withstood, it seems, for good reason, knowledge is power, and in this madrasah its walls are imbued with the wisdom of its students and mentors))) The exterior and architecture are quite attractive and the size of the structure inspires respect, although it is no longer used for its intended purpose, now it serves as a point of attraction only for tourists, so the entrance is paid to get into the courtyard and look at the interior, although there is nothing special inside, even for money) The building itself is located on a small hillock between modern buildings, therefore, when approaching it, it is perceived differently, when approaching from the Chorsu bazaar, the facade itself looks unremarkable from the side, but when approaching from Navoi or Samarkand streets, the main facade rises very interesting and eye-catching.

We lived within walking distance. There is a huge market nearby. A functioning madrasah, paid entrance, a dress code, a cozy picturesque courtyard. On the second floor there is a workshop with beautiful souvenirs made of precious woods. If you solve the secret, the master gives you good discounts. Special thanks for the free entrance, when we were allowed into the souvenir shop (on our return to Tashkent) after 7 days to buy a previously liked box. They did not find a better quality and price either in Bukhara or in Samarkand.

The history of our city. XVI century. It is one of the oldest religious buildings of the Sheibanid era. A beautiful monument of architecture and culture of the capital. And it is located in the very center of the old town.

To my surprise, Samarkand has been transformed - the infrastructure for tourists is very developed.
We visited Samarkand in October 2023.
Not far from the train station, we met a guide with a car and a partner with a car.
There were 7 of us and they accompanied us.
They showed us Gur-Emir, Registan Square, Ulugbek Observatory and the Holy Spring of Daniel at the intersection of the Silk Road.
Took us to lunch
The guide was very cheerful and we all had a delicious lunch together.
Difficulties were only with the purchase of tickets for Afrosiab, and in general, a great trip in a fun company 👍

The historical landmark is well preserved as a madrasah is currently not functioning, but the doors of the madrasah are open to tourists as a workshop of artisans of applied arts.

One of the legacies of our history of the people and religion. At the present time, everything has turned back. There are students studying like the old days with excellent teachers. Now many tourists come to the madrasah to see the beauty and life of those times. I recommend everyone to visit and immerse themselves in the history of our religion.

It is mandatory to view, but not large, the monks' cells were not allowed, the tourist service is extremely underdeveloped. The place is religious. In general, the new model, the old one was not shown. For single viewing.

A small well-kept courtyard. You can only walk around the perimeter. You can climb to the second floor by a steep stone staircase. On the second floor there are souvenirs and artists, as well as just a view of the courtyard. Entrance is paid - about 106 rubles in Russian

The place is very beautiful, but women are not allowed in, since this is a place of study for men, for religious reasons, women are not allowed to visit a place where there is a crowd of men, and men can only enter by covering their avrat (legs above the knees, headdress)

The oldest surviving architectural monument in Tashkent and one of the most beautiful in the city. A pleasant small courtyard, which can be admired from the gallery on the second floor.
