The real oriental flavor is here! The aromas of spices, oils, smoke and the smell of burning bahura incense in special censers, sweets, cashmere shawls, fabrics, outfits, souvenir shops, gold, gold, a lot of gold, obsessive merchants - you will find it all here. 👍👍👍We liked it!!!

A huge selection of spices and aromatic materials, items and souvenirs can be traded for 50-70% below the initial price. Lots of handmade souvenirs and other handmade items.

I've been to this market twice, the first time purely out of curiosity to see it, but I liked it so much, the sellers and people there are so good-natured that the next day I took with me the gifts from Russia that I took with me and already took them to give to the sellers) Feel free to chat with people there, they are very kind, someone can even speak broken Russian, you can arrange a barter with them (in small things, of course)

If you want to feel the flavor of the old eastern city (Russian tourist image morale), then this is the place. Textile and gold markets are nearby. If you want to buy something, read the posts on the Internet - there are a lot of them. A large percentage of the shops are dedicated to wholesale trade. In the rest, it is advisable to understand the product that you are buying. For example, you will have 10 bags of pepper or cinnamon at different prices in front of you, and an amateur may encounter unscrupulous sellers. This is the East. Sometimes a good salesperson puts you in a state of euphoria. While in it, for example, I bought 10 grams of tea at a price of 60 tr per kg. Purely out of curiosity. In general, you need to bargain and discounts of 30-50% are normal.

I really wanted to visit this place, as I love spices and hoped to acquire something new. But I was very disappointed. This is a common place designed for tourists. It's beautifully designed and that's all the advantages. The prices are too high at times, the assortment is not impressive.

In the old district of Dubai, it is worth visiting the spice, ceramics and silk markets. But girls, especially one at a time, shouldn't go there. Sellers are very affectionate...REALLY! Before you can get there, they'll shower you with perfume, put on scarves, clothes, and sell everything....) those who don't know how to communicate with such guys (half, if not more, of them are Hindus) shouldn't even go there! The atmosphere here is completely different from modern shopping malls — narrow streets, the aroma of spices. At the spice market, you can find saffron, cardamom, dried fruits and dozens of mixtures for traditional dishes. There are ceramic stalls nearby, from simple cups to hand—painted plates and vases. In the silk market, sellers offer fabrics of all colors and textures, and you can often bargain. Tip: take cash and take your time — merchants love communication and can tell you a lot of interesting things about the goods.

Very atmospheric! But I do not advise going there alone — all sellers will be yours, and discounts will be unyielding (only if they do not like you, of course), and some even climb straight up, so go with someone, it will not be so scary. There are a lot of spices (but I was more impressed by the bazaar in Istanbul). Leaving the bazaar, you can go to the dock and for 2 dirhams sail an old boat to the other shore.

A colorful market, especially if you walk on your own from the subway. The prices are cosmic, but it's nice to take a walk. Especially to bargain and have a heart-to-heart conversation with the sellers. I like that you can walk anywhere, safely

The place is peculiar, not suitable for everyone Sellers are very intrusive and very much break prices, speak English poorly, so if you want to buy something, then you definitely need to bargain and pretend in every possible way that you don't really need the thing. A kind of entertainment in general.

Just walk around and look around - yes, buy something - no way. The prices here are very specific, designed for a fool. They tried to sell 1 gram of spices for 2 dirhams, and now imagine how much a kilogram costs... Exactly the same spices in Day to Day cost ~ 20 dirhams per kilogram. In the market (and not only in this one), everyone attacks you like a vulture and tries to sell their goods for overprice. The only plus, if you are hungry, is that you can go to the market and eat the dates that they offer to try.

It's not a very interesting place. A lot of monotonous goods at "tourist" prices. Sellers are ready to eat you, like seagulls in the bay)))

I added one star for the presence of a currency exchange point. I will try to speak more or less objectively. It is possible and even necessary to bargain, although for the most part it all boils down to the fact that the price is brought down weakly, but they give "as a gift" something that is often not needed. A big disappointment was on the counter with sand paintings in a bottle, the works look good, although flaws are visible in places, plus the reliability of the neck looks doubtful so that the sand does not spill out. The seller, after we tried to negotiate a price, called some person who started "threatening problems" if we refuse to buy. A cool way to interact in the market, especially in a foreign country. I'm definitely not going here anymore

I planned to walk to the spice and gold market from the Baniyas square metro station. This is in order to feel the flavor of the Deira district. In general, the market is steep - under a carved wooden roof, and every street is signed with what they sell there. If you know English, you can navigate well. And one of these streets is the spice market. I don't really like such markets - they take away energy, make noise, stop it, offer it. But after we talked with one of the merchants, we began to feel more confident and understand the prices. As a result, we bought menthol crystals, some tea (it turned out to be very expensive). And so it's the same in every stall

Well I do not know. Those who miss the Vietnamese markets and Cherkizons are welcome. Come on in, llama for the lady, saffron bro. We don't let women go far with a lock on the bag The wiring of taxi drivers is also popular - approach a taxi with checkers in the parking lot, say where - he scratches a turnip, says he doesn't know, but this one knows. They seat you, but they take you without a meter for triple the price
