Guidebooks claim that there are more than 300 mosques in Sharjah, and one of them is the Al-Magfira Mosque, built on the Al-Corniche embankment. Al Maghfirah Mosque is difficult to overlook, as its 74-meter-high minarets are considered one of the tallest in the city. The mosque was opened in 2002.
