After 3 years, I was glad to find that the institution continues to maintain its high level of quality. The restaurant is located on a cozy street, a 3-minute walk from the very heart of Istanbul - Sultanahmet Square. The menu offers dishes for every taste, vegans and PP advocates will find something suitable for themselves. My favorites are the delicate grilled levrek (sea bass), the authentic Ali nazik kebab, the spectacular testi kebab in a clay pot, which is served as a whole show, as well as the spicy meze snacks and the awesome dessert katmer with dondurma (Turkish ice cream made from orchid roots). The helpful, sociable staff and, above all, the owner of the restaurant, who surrounds all guests with unobtrusive attention and humor, perfectly complement the homely atmosphere. After days of intense walks and impressions in the city of the soul, my friends and I enjoyed spending every evening in this place, enjoying a conversation over a delicious dinner with a glass of cold wine, staying up late.

A standard restaurant in a tourist location, only tourists eat. It's a one-time visit, you won't go a second time. I liked it: shrimp with vegetables, served in a hot pan, not salted, without oil I didn't like it: the assorted kebab has quite a lot of meat, by the middle of the dish it is already cold, there are cartilages in the cutlets, the chicken is too sour Tuna Salad - do you expect to see square pieces of tuna fillet, fried on the edges and red inside? Maybe.. but you will get canned tuna at the beginning of the meal, they bring flatbread with hummus, and coffee at the end as a compliment.

We went to the Saltanat Fish&Kebab House restaurant for a quick snack, and stayed for a full dinner. It was unbearably hot outside in early September, but it was pleasant inside the restaurant. A large table for our company, comfort, comfortable seating and affordable prices by tourist standards convinced us to stay. The service exceeded our expectations – the dishes were talked about and advised, the appliances were changed, the used dishes were quickly taken away. We took several types of kebab and lamb quiche, all of them of very decent quality. We wanted to try the local white wine, we entrusted the choice to the waiter and also did not lose. After dinner, as a compliment, we were treated to several types of Turkish tea, it was delicious. We took note of Kebab House. I think we'll look here more than once on occasion.
