We live here for the 4th day. We moved from Ras Al-Haima, where there were 4 days on alc. Because our room is an “apartment” (we wanted to have a kitchen), we stayed at this hotel, but we did not expect that this type of room here is so old. Yes, there are two rooms, a large bathroom, and a kitchen, but the furniture and interior elements are objectively old. The floor lamps have fabric patches from age, a lot of elements in the classical style and monograms, where a huge amount of dust accumulates, and it does not wipe off. There is air conditioning, the temperature is generally comfortable. The plumbing in the bathroom is also too old, it is difficult to adjust the comfortable water temperature, because the faucet does not turn well. A room with a balcony and a hall with panoramic views is a delight. The noise on the street does not interfere, the sound insulation is decent. There is no communal light in the bedroom, only floor lamps. There is also tension with the sockets in the bedroom, there is not a single European plug, although it also works for the local one. In general, everything is clean, but there are problems with cleaning - either new towels will not be brought, or water will not be left in the room. We liked the breakfasts, there was more choice than in the previous hotel, but plus or minus the monotony. But the biggest problem is getting up and down the elevator. The building is 40 storeys high, there are a lot of people, sometimes we wait 10-15 minutes for elevators. There are several of them here, you need to get used to them and find out where they are in order to summon them in several parts of the corridor at once. There is a washing machine, but there are no dryers to hang things. The location is super convenient. Along the road. The subway is just a minute away, even if it's literally passing under the window. To be honest, I was a little sorry that I chose this hotel, because after all, the hotel is already old. I don't know if all the rooms here are that old, but we weren't very lucky.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days. The huge advantage of this hotel is that it is literally two minutes from the entrance to the subway, the room card also opens the gate to the street and in a minute you are in the subway. The staff doesn't advertise it much, and many people don't know about it, the gate is not visible behind the parking lot of guest cars and they go to the subway bypassing the hotel, which takes 7-8 minutes. Our room was standard on the 11th floor, the room was large, high ceilings, lots of air. There is no balcony, but there is a window to ventilate the room. The room is very humid, but it seems to me that this is precisely because of the time of year - May, the heat and high humidity, but in principle this was the first hotel where we encountered such a problem. There are very modest cosmetics in the bathroom, so I recommend that everyone bring their own shampoo and conditioner (the hotel is not 4* for cosmetics in the bathroom) . The room was clean, but the cleaning was unclear at what time, you can come at any time before sunset and the room will not be cleaned. There is a very small swimming pool, three umbrellas and 10 sun loungers, which is very small for such a huge hotel. But you can go up to the pool (it's on the top floor), just swim and leave. The reception was beautiful, and what also seemed strange to us was that the staff never said hello, we were always the first to say hello, and we answered every other time. We stayed at this hotel to meet with friends, they flew to meet us from Doha, and they also noticed that the staff was not very friendly. Our friends rented a two-room room on the top floor with a living room, a bedroom and two huge balconies, and this room was great. Therefore, if you want to stay at this hotel, I recommend considering a personalized option! We didn't take breakfast at the hotel, but there are many good places nearby where you can have a great meal. Once again, there is a huge plus in the location of the hotel, near the metro!

We stayed with a friend at this hotel from November 11 to November 15, 2024. We both celebrated birthdays on these dates, mentioned it at check-in, and were given a room with a view of the towers. On the first birthday, we did not receive any compliments from the hotel, on the second, there was a small piece of cake (probably given to a friend due to the fact that the room was booked for her). The breakfasts are the same every day, but on the whole they are good, delicious, and there is enough choice. In the first 2 days, we did not have any cleaning at all, even though we pressed the cleaning button in the room, we had to go to the reception. After the appeal, they were cleaned daily. The main disadvantage is high humidity. As soon as we entered the hotel, the smell of dampness immediately rushed in, which persisted on every floor, including in our room. Nothing was drying in the room, towels and swimsuits were constantly damp. Even the dry things that were just lying on the shelf became wet. The bed linen is also wet. There was no balcony to dry things either. The bathroom is very dark, it is problematic to see something in the mirror) There is a transfer, but the schedule is terribly inconvenient, the first departure to the beach is at 10:00, the last transfer back is about 16 hours (or at 20!). They gave me flowers for my birthday, so there was no vase in the hotel! We asked the staff at the reception, they sent us to the restaurant - there is no one there either, this is the first time we have encountered this. There is a cool view pool on the roof, there is a hammam and a sauna. Very close to the metro, near the bus stop, grocery store 24 hours. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the sea by bus. In general, the hotel is a top three because of the price-quality ratio.

The hotel is located next to the metro (from the airport by metro without changing trains). You can go around several buildings on the left and find yourself at the hotel, or go straight and go through the gate (it opens with the room key, but the first time we asked the guard to open it), leading to a small parking lot and in 2 minutes you will be at the hotel.There is a lot of humidity in the room, especially when the air conditioner is turned on (knowledgeable people explained that this is due to improper ventilation). During our stay, we opened the curtains and the window to ventilate, did not turn on the air conditioner and removed the second sheet (oilcloth), so our room became dry and we could already live normally. According to the rules of the hotel, one hand towel is provided, but after the administration convinced us that this was wrong, they began to bring us two. Unfortunately, the room is cleaned up to 18 hours. Water bottles were placed regularly, as tea and coffee were reported. The window faced the highway, there was a construction site nearby, but it didn't bother us, because we left early and arrived late, it was relatively quiet at night. Swimming pool for a family of four. Breakfasts and dinners are average, you won't go hungry, but you won't get pleasure from eating either (it's clear that the vegetables are stale, the pasta is overcooked). The coffee is terrible. If you come late for dinner, you will see empty dishes (there is no time to report the dishes), because the restaurant is open in the evening not only as a buffet for those staying at the hotel and paying for dinner, therefore, the restaurant's visitors are served first. There are several grocery stores not far from the hotel on the opposite side of the street. There was no desire to stay at this hotel again or recommend it.

This time we decided to try the Tecom area, the metro station is 2 minutes away, we planned to visit several places that we haven't looked at yet. The room was reserved for 3, but the equipment is only for 2 (towels, cups, glasses, water). The room stock is tired, that's a fact. There is objectively little food at breakfast. I won't swallow it, but it's really not enough, it's the choice of food. The shuttle takes you to the beach, the bus picks up several hotels, the seats on the bus are all broken, I regretted that I did not take a picture. The pool is on the 17th floor, very small. There are 10 sun beds in total, 2 of which are in the shade, and the child and I did not get there. The room is dark, there is not enough light. The water in the shower fills up quickly and there is a risk that if you wash longer, it will flow through the sides already. There is no curtain, only a glass structure that does not reach the end of the wall. When you wash, don't splash too much) The support service has been responding for a very long time, I wrote to them before I arrived, asked questions, and they answered when we were here. Lunch menu-70 dirks per person. It's really delicious. Choose an appetizer/main dish/ dessert. If you are traveling with a child and if he does not sleep with you on the bed, then an additional place is only for a fee. I repeat, we have been here many times, and by the way, this is the first time, usually they always put an extra bed (extra sofa), something like that. There seem to be a lot of cafes nearby, but I don't want to eat in them at all. Anyway, I'm upset. I haven't written negative reviews for a long time. Alas!

Stay at the DusitD2 kenz Hotel Dubai from 31.12.2022-06.01.2023, arrived at night 01.01.2023, arrived at the hotel around 2 am. We booked accommodation together with half board (breakfast + lunch/dinner) and it turned out to be the worst for us. The food is bad, bad and bad again. I've been to a lot of places, but I haven't eaten anywhere so badly and for the first time in my life I regretted that I had some kind of food turned on. We immediately tensed up when we came to the first dinner. If there were people at breakfast, then we were alone at dinner, at most one or two more people. For breakfast, you can find something else to eat, for example, shakshuka, omelet, toast, croissants, yoghurts. Cheeses, sausage are cherished, fruits are watermelons, or melons are not tasty, oranges are good. Separately, I will note plastic tomatoes, absolutely not tasty greens. There is a crush at breakfast, I had to wait for the food to be taken out. I was also surprised that some foreigners leave leftovers from watermelons/melons in the same place where there is a distribution on the table, put a plate next to it and it was a few days, there was no desire to take something there. We expected that coming to a sunny country we would eat a lot of fruits, greens, vegetables, but in the end we chewed only croissants and toast. It's really sad for dinner, several vats, of which white rice every day, spiced potatoes/noodles (overcooked to the state of collapsed), beef, chicken, fish, there was a seafood sauce once, I understand that sounds good, BUT it's not edible, poorly cooked, not tasty. We ate simply because the food was included. For breakfast and dinner, juices are in the vending machine, I had a very bad stomach on them, the rest seemed to be drinking. For dinner, at best, there was apple juice, once there was soda instead of juice, tea / coffee is NOT INCLUDED. The coffee for breakfast is terrible. This is what people are fed every day, probably the administration saves a lot on nutrition. But where there is nearby is also not entirely clear, some strange cafes. I liked the food only on the beaches, colorful cafes. The room is on the 17th floor, city view, it's scary enough to go out on the balcony, but the plus is that you can always open it, since it's warm outside and breathe fresh air, not air conditioning. The room equipment is extremely tired: the carpet is stained on the floor, there are no slippers and bathrobes in the room, the furniture is worn. The first night we slept on a frankly damp sheet, so it was made before our check-in. The curtains are all torn. The shower-watering can requires replacement, splashes only from a few holes and with wild force. Cosmetics at the hotel did not suit me, I had a very strong allergy and itching from shampoo. The shower room itself is made in such a way that all the water is on the floor. The toilet has a hygienic shower, by the way, it is available in almost all public toilets in Dubai. The room has an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer (fixed in the bathroom, not portable), a TV (1 Russian channel, not watched), a kettle and a set of teas, coffee, cream, 2 bottles of water daily. The bed is huge by 180, the pillows are frankly bad, feather, bend and low, not comfortable. The cleaning is strange, I had to ask for it on the first day, because when I returned to the room in the evening, I found that nothing had been cleaned. You can rate the room as "tolerable, you can get used to it", but I have been to different hotels, there is something to compare it with. The location of the hotel is near the Dubai Internet City metro. We were in Dubai for the first time, and did not know that after entering the subway, you will need to walk to the trains for probably about 1 km (in different ways at the stations), there are moving tracks, but they do not work, for example, in the evening. Transfer from the hotel is offered in two Malls: Mall of Emirates, Outlet Mall, as well as to Blue Waters Island (where the Ferris wheel is). There is NO transfer to the beach in the morning. There is a Marina Bay beach, JBR if you go to Blue Waters Dubai, but the first bus leaves there after 14:00, it's late for December, as the wind rises after lunch and it gets cool. We got to the beach on our own from the hotel by bus, for this you need to cross the road by going to the subway (as I already wrote, the distance is huge), then take the X28 or 88 bus. The fare to different beaches varies. A stunning beach for relaxing with children La Mer, it takes about 1 hour to get to it from the hotel, plus a round-trip walk to the stops and the interval between buses is 30 minutes. To Burjalarab (sailboat) about 30 minutes drive, then nice big beaches Kite Beach, etc. Bus stops are different, that is, there is no 88 where the X28 stops, and vice versa. The hotel definitely needs its own transfer to the beaches. What I liked was the area, near the park, a lot of people with children walk in the evenings, there is a grocery store and more than one. There is a small swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, we are not fans, we went 1 time, the view is breathtaking, there are not many sunbeds. For the beach by the pool, they give out worse towels, torn in places, for the pool newer. The staff at the hotel is all polite, the room for eviction was extended for free from 12.00 to 14.00. I would not go to this room again, or to the hotel as a whole, only on condition that the concept of food is completely revised and total repairs are made in the rooms. This is a 3-star hotel with a stretch.

The Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights 4* hotel is located on a very busy Sheikh Zayed Road, so even if there are double-glazed windows, the noise of the highway can be heard both day and night (for those who have a light sleep, probably not suitable). But right at the walls of the hotel there is a metro station. The rooms are very spacious. We booked a room with a living room and a bedroom, but upon check-in we were offered a room with 2 bedrooms for 20 dirhams (360 rubles) per day of surcharge. We agreed and it turned out to be a very large apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.nodes, washing machine in a separate pantry, living room, kitchen, 2 balconies and sea views, Bursh Al Arab (Sail). The furniture in the room is not new, but the beds are very comfortable, the bed linen is snow-white, not worn, not washed. There are extra blankets in the closet. Room cleaning every day, but rather superficial (apparently considering the size of the room), water in the room is free, unlimited, but instead of empty containers. The hotel has a heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, SPA. The food at the hotel is good, quite varied, mainly European cuisine. The hotel staff is friendly, polite, mostly speaking English, but some speak Russian. In general, we liked everything.

Overall, I liked the hotel, but the service ruined everything. First, about the hotel. Clean and new rooms with everything you need. We took accommodation with breakfast: in general, there was always something to eat: omelets, croissants, pastries, but few fruits, vegetables, pancakes for 8 days were 2 times. Infrastructure: there is a metro nearby, which is a 5-minute walk away. Nearby there is an exchange office with a favorable rate and a supermarket. There is a heated pool on the roof, there were always free sun beds. We used the transfer to the beach, they take us to JBR, we signed up in the evening, we liked it. BUT there are big questions about the service. Everyone is smiling, but in fact the service is disgusting. We celebrated our birthdays with a young man at the hotel. I asked in advance at the reception if any congratulations were expected, to which I was told that there would be a cake. In the dr itself, I came up twice and asked if it was worth waiting, to which I was told that it was about to happen. As a result, they brought a small piece of cake at 23:55 (!), justifying that they came when we were not there. It's amazing that the hotel staff can't get into the room and leave it on the table and expect tourists to sit in the room all day. My birthday was the next, I was not congratulated at all, although in the afternoon we were in the room. Similarly, with room service: we ordered two dishes in the room, brought one, forgot the second. They cleaned strangely - they did not change towels for 5 days, then they changed them every day. Therefore, next time we will look for another hotel.
