We arrived at the Park Live festival, after which we decided to drop into a bar that was pleasant according to the description. At the entrance, we were met by not very friendly guards who said that there were no seats even behind the bar (although it was visible from the window that there were places). It was decided to wait. The time is 1:40. After the security started the company of friends and 10 people had already left, we clarified whether it made sense to wait. The guard shook his head negatively, and after a minute his colleague suggested that he move away. Outside the camera area, he offered to enter for 10 thousand tenge per person. The time is about 2:00. In order not to spoil the weekend, I gave 20 thousand and went with my wife. They drank and left. These guys spoiled the mood at the entrance, the bar lost revenue, and we lost time. Date: night from September 7th to 8th. What surprised me the most... all the drunken and cheerful were those who drank gin and tonic, and we drank two bottles of wine, 2 glasses of whiskey, 3 shots of tequila for 3 people and only one got drunk🤣 we need to take gin and tonic😄 the music is diverse, from the 90s to 2023, although the waiters "carried" cigarettes to us 5 times, but they didn't inform, so we had to go to the bar ourselves. We arranged a trip to the bars: so that we could visit different ones, sit for a short time and go further. We started with the Jabberwocky. The space itself is huge and stylish, the music sounds great - there are no questions about these things. But the attitude of the employees spoiled everything. Starting with the fact that when we arrived at 19:00 and it turned out that starting at 21:00 the tables were all booked, we were not offered to sit this time before the start of the reservation. It's strange, the institution doesn't need customers so much that it can be empty for two hours instead of inviting people, but to discuss that there is a time limit (we stayed less than an hour in the end)? We ourselves eventually offered them this option, and the girl at the entrance reluctantly agreed (what's the logic?). The waiters also work impressively - they sit in a corner, communicate with each other, pay zero attention to visitors until you start waving your hands at them like a man at the airport who shows flags where the plane is going. In general, there is a complete feeling that you are not particularly welcome and in general everyone is on chill, on the couch, and here some customers are walking around, asking for a menu) The food we took was OK, but there are complaints about cocktails - a friend was brought a cocktail with such a serving that you don't really feel alcohol, but there is so much ice that it is impossible to drink - pieces of ice roll down on your face when you drink)) it's original, of course, but which genius came up with it and did he try to drink what he cooked himself?) in general, we are disappointed with the experience, it seems that it is the human factor and the general indifference of employees that spoils everything. We are unlikely to come a second time.
