If you are walking from the main transport hub (railway and bus station) of the city, then moving from this side, it may seem that this is the biggest attraction of Krakow. However, this is not the case 😉 Directly behind it is the fortress wall and the Florian Gate, from where the Old Town and the main pedestrian street to the Royal Wawel Castle begin. The old town is a must-visit - Europe, as we imagine it. 😁

The Barbican in Krakow is a fortification, a unique historical and architectural monument. Only three similar structures have been preserved in Europe, while the Krakow barbican is in the best condition. Now a branch of the Krakow Historical Museum is located on its territory, various exhibitions are held here.
