The place is just incredibly beautiful. The church is gorgeous from the outside, but inside it is generally magnificent. There is a cave that you can even go inside. Everything is refined inside, a wonderful altar, lots of flowers. Friendly dogs greeted us in the courtyard. I recommend you to visit, this place is definitely worth seeing.

The Church of Peter and Paul in St. Peter's looks typical for our towns.Vasilishki (late 19th-early 20th century ).20b) inside is not quite typical. And all because of the artificial rock grotto that you can walk through. There are many statuettes recreating biblical tales on its ledges and in niches. It looks unusual) On the walls, near the entrance to the church, there are inscriptions carved in stone smeared with mortar. They say that these are the names and surnames of people who participated in the construction of the temple. However, the local governor ordered them to be painted over, as the name of Emperor Nicholas II was not the first on the list. And the famous singer Cheslav Nemen was born in Starye Vasilishki. Unfortunately, it is not known from us. There is even a museum and its own local guide, a real enthusiast who will be happy to tell and show everything. We recommend you to visit.

It's a very beautiful church, both inside and out. The priest lives nearby, but he wasn't at home. The locals advised us to contact Danuta, who lives near the church. She had a key, and she opened the church for us.It's something amazing.

We decided to take a family trip to Old Vasilishki. My wife saw enough on Instagram. I was expecting another hyped attraction for a photo, but I was mistaken. The place turned out to be worthwhile. The Church of Peter and Paul is not just another old church. The architecture is interesting, there is an unusual man-made cave inside, behind which a whole classroom is hidden. The stained glass windows are ancient, and the organ is said to be over two hundred and fifty years old. It feels like a story, not a show-off. But the main thing is not the stones. We met the abbot. A rare type in our time: open, without officiousness and pathos, sincerely passionate about his work. I conducted the tour in such a way that it was interesting for both me and the child to listen. I didn't read memorized facts, but spoke to the point, with my soul. I recommend that you learn Polish before your trip - it will help a lot. In general, the trip was a success. I recommend. You can safely go not so much for the sake of architecture as for the sake of human communication. You won't lose.

It's not often you get the opportunity to visit such places, but this particular place has already struck you from afar. For some reason, I immediately thought of Notre Dame in France. I went inside and was surprised by the variety and abundance of decorations and installations. It was a pity there was no one, I would really like to listen to the organ.

It is one of the most beautiful churches in Belarus. There is an unusual cave inside. A unique place worth visiting! The entrance is on the left, if it's closed, dial the Priest, his number is written at the entrance!

The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The construction of the red brick church took place in 1897-1903 according to the project of Konstantin Wojciechowski. The temple was built on donations from both ordinary believers and rich nobles. Their names were stamped on the slabs around the main entrance and in the lower part of the walls. However, in 1947, the Soviet authorities ordered them to be covered with cement. Later, the church was closed altogether. It was only in 1988 that the faithful were able to regain the shrine. The temple impresses with the beauty of its interiors. An artificial cave has a special beauty and originality, inside of which there is a chapel-grotto in the Art Nouveau style. There is a fresco depicting the main contributors to the church, its first priest– František Sokolovski, an architect and organist. There is also a memorial plaque inside to Man Nemen, an outstanding Polish singer and composer who was born in Starye Vasilishki, was baptized in this church, and his father worked as an organist.

A treasure among Belarusian fields If you want to see a place where history, architecture and a quiet, prayerful atmosphere merge together, be sure to visit this church. Our trip to the agro-town of Starye Vasilishki, Grodno region, left an indelible impression. The beauty of the church: This temple is a true masterpiece of Neo—Gothic architecture. It was as if he had stepped off the pages of an old European postcard. Its austere, sky-gazing forms, lancet windows and laconic red brick facade fascinate at first glance. The exterior of the church breathes noble antiquity and grandeur. It makes a particularly strong impression when you get close to it — it seems that it was not just built, but grew out of this land. The atmosphere inside is surprisingly calm and solemn. Muted, multicolored light pours through the stained glass windows, which paints the antique walls and wooden benches in warm tones. The elegant altar, the acoustics in which every sound freezes — all this sets up a peaceful mood. It feels like this place has been preserved for many generations. Surrounding area: The church stands on a hill, and it offers a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The leisurely life of a small Belarusian village, green fields stretching to the horizon, and the clear sky above create an ideal ensemble. There is no hustle and bustle of the big city. The silence is such that you can hear the rustle of leaves and the singing of birds. The area is very picturesque and cozy in its own way, it perfectly harmonizes with the monumental appearance of the temple. Overall impression: Visiting this place is a small journey through time and an opportunity to touch a unique part of the cultural heritage of Belarus. Here you can forget about everyday worries, enjoy the silence and take truly atmospheric photos. Recommendation: I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in architecture, history, or just looking for beautiful and peaceful places to think. This is one of those pearls that make Belarus so special.

A stunningly beautiful Gothic church! Required for the room! The frescoes on the walls are 100 years old, but they look great, wonderful stained glass windows, if the priest allows you to go up to the organ, then the solemn beauty takes your breath away! The priest is a very friendly, cheerful person, easily communicates, can allow you to listen and play the organ. Leave donations, the temple is aged, so some repairs are required. I highly recommend visiting, the building leaves a strong impression!

A very majestic church towering over the village of Starye Vasilishki. In the back of the building it is written in Latin that the Russian tsar Nicholas ll visited this church. The church is very atmospheric and has its own interesting history. Don't drive by!

We arrived on a weekday, the church is closed. But besides us, there were other people who came here on purpose. We went to look for the priest's house, found it, knocked and asked to open the church. He did not refuse, but he did not tell me anything, it was obvious that the mood was not there. Maybe we woke him up)) The exterior and interior decoration are impressive.

An amazing Church, admired by the scale of the construction, we were lucky to get inside the church, inside it is even more impressive. There are a lot of statues of saints, incredibly beautiful stucco, it is clear that the church is being watched and cared for. You can walk on it for several hours and look at it, it's incredibly beautiful. If you pass somewhere nearby, do not be lazy and stop there, you will not regret it

A grandiose historical, architectural and religious building in a small village. It is noteworthy that on the facade of the church you can find six-pointed stars of David, in memory of the local Jewish community, which provided financial support for the construction of the temple.

The scope of this impressive church is already visible from afar. The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul began to be built in 1897 with the money of parishioners and patrons. It is said that the names of these people were engraved on one of the walls of the church. But you won't see them now. Why? There are two versions about this. Emperor Nicholas II donated to the construction of the church, but they forgot to mention his name and were far from the first to be attributed. The governor of Grodno was afraid of possible proceedings and ordered the removal of all names. The names were covered with cement during the Soviet era. The authorities of that time considered them inappropriate.

It's a very magnificent church! Perhaps, he made the strongest impression during his trip to Belarus, even more than in Gervyat. Located at the entrance to a small village. The contrast between the scale of the building and the size of the village enhances the effect. At the entrance to the village, from a hillock, there is a great view.

It is necessary to see it, to take part in the service, to hear the organ. At one time, people invested everything they could into the church, and during the period of atheism, they kept the property safe. We got to a reception in Moscow with the top leadership of the country (USSR) and achieved our goal. At one time, the entire roof was replaced, just to save the temple. Thank them for everything they did. Today, unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer residents (parishioners) every year, but the next generations should know the history of the church and their Homeland.
