A beautifully curated museum displaying centuries of Islamic art, science, and culture. Less crowded and deeply educational. Take an intercity bus from Dubai to Sharjah and then a local taxi or bus to the museum.

It’s a great place to spend time with family and about civilization. The only challenge was that the escalators were not working. We had to leave children strollers on the ground floor. Otherwise it was a great experience

It's a great museum, very informative if you know English. There are no Russian audio guides. On the ground floor there is a gallery dedicated to the origin and development of Islam (very interesting) and a science gallery, where some exhibits can be viewed and interactive experiences can be conducted, children may like this part especially. On the second floor there are 4 galleries with weapons, ceramics, embossing, dishes. On the third floor there is a very beautiful dome with a starry sky and constellations. The cost of the visit is 10 dirhams, and you will enjoy much more.

A wonderful museum! About five thousand exhibits. There are many interactive exhibits on the ground floor. The life and formation of culture and technological progress are shown. A gorgeous dome on the top floor, in a cafe, in the form of zodiac constellations. We were with a child, 11 years old. Carried away by a teenager🙂 all descriptions in Arabic and English!

It's a gorgeous place, beautiful, informative, and culturally diverse. It was a bit far, almost at the border of the next emirate of Ajman, from Occidental they took a taxi for 6 km for 20 dirhams, the ticket also seemed to be the same. There is no guide, but it's understandable, we walked for two hours, it's very comfortable, there are recreation areas, a cafe, a shop. Lots of interactivity. The view around is interesting. And from this place, further towards the Flag, if you go, then you can make an excellent program for yourself: the old port, the art museum, the embankment, the fishing pier, the fish and clothing markets, the government quarter, an amusement park, an amphitheater. For the whole day

A modern museum, lots of interactive exhibits, you can read, watch, squeeze. The building itself, architecture, and design are worthy of special attention. We got both cognitive and aesthetic pleasure. Thank you.

Very cool. Globally. Very large areas and a super interesting exhibit of artifacts. Studying the material, we can conclude that a very large number of discoveries and inventions have been made in the East. Set aside a minimum of 3-4 hours for visits and be sure to dress warmly. It's cold in the museum.

An excellent educational museum. There are six galleries with interesting exhibits ranging from numismatics and ancient manuscripts, to models of holy Islamic sites and all kinds of inventions by Arab scientists...

This is not a UAE museum. This is the museum of Islam. There are exhibits from Mongolia, Iran and other countries. In 2025, admission for Russians was free. That's why I recommend it. Get to know this interesting culture. Free wi-fi for visitors.

I don't really like such (historical) museums, but it was interesting to see the exhibits and the actual stages of the development of Islamic civilization. Both writing and art, weapons, household items, the development of science, crafts and industry. The museum building itself is beautiful both from the outside and especially from the inside. Admission is 10 dirhams.

A very beautiful and fabulous museum with several floors and a large number of halls with various exhibits on a variety of topics: weapons, crafts, historical figures, architecture, astronomy, history, religion and much more. A huge bonus is that there are few people here. There is a magical peaceful atmosphere. Spent a few hours here

I liked the various measuring instruments. For those who have been to the Hermitage, it will be boring here. There are very few exhibits. And so, to spend time and take a break from a beach holiday, you can go.

I liked the museum, two hours flew by unnoticed,a lot of interactive exhibits, some you can touch and twist, even though we have not been children for a long time, we are delighted. They let us in for free, gave us our age and didn't even ask for our documents.

A very interesting and informative museum located in the building of the former market. Entrance is paid - 10 dirhams (adult) and 5 dirhams for children. There are a lot of different exhibits, including interactive ones. All information is provided in English and Arabic. Also at the entrance, as a pledge of the passport, you can take an audio guide explaining the museum's expositions in Russian. Photography is allowed. I recommend it.

It's a great museum, and there are plenty of places to compare it to. It will probably be a bit boring for children, since there is no interactive content, but if an adult helps them figure it out, then it will be great for the child!
