For the first time in my life, after living in several dozen hotels, I leave a negative review about the hotel, I hope for the last time.
So, let's go;
Positive:
-a gorgeous area strewn with greenery and flowers
- the first line from the sea
-super Mega cool animator Bambucha, (the son even burst into tears saying goodbye to him), pleasant bartenders and all employees of the restaurant, including the restaurant manager
Cons:
-Old, shabby, crumbling furniture, complete inconsistency of photos on the booking
-washed laundry in a spool with unstoadable stains
- always only cold tap water
-lack of any layout (no toothbrushes, no shower gels, no slippers, NOTHING)
-the refrigerator was constantly leaking, the TV was rippling, they did not respond to complaints
- very poor cleaning, all public areas - starting with floor lamps and ending with billiards are covered with a thick layer of dust. By the way, billiards is paid for guests, 50 feet per hour! I would like to mention the Maid, who, although he did not clean the room very much, turned swans out of towels for us every day and smiled a lot, a very pleasant man!

-boorish reception staff - 3 guys, never smiled, always talked from the top, reacted to requests extremely slowly and reluctantly, periodically forgetting to bring the necessary information to the relevant services. And when we left at 00-45 on March 31, the administrator named with the letter A (unfortunately, I did not remember his name, but he is the only one who speaks a little Russian among the administrators), detained us for 20 minutes! (the Coraltravel bus was already waiting for us at the hotel with passengers) due to the loss of the key to the safe, which we handed back on the day of arrival! He demanded that we pay a fine of $ 100, and when he finally found this key after 20 minutes of shaking our nerves, instead of apologizing, he said that we had created a lot of problems for them. Can you imagine?! The administrator, to us, the guests who paid for 12 nights of accommodation for three at their hotel, instead of thanking us at check-out and apologizing for the unreasonable delay, said that we were nothing but problems! This is the first time I've encountered such rudeness and tactlessness. We travel abroad every six months, but this is the first time I have had such a bottom and such an unpleasant aftertaste, I have always been happy with my vacation before.
- there was also a situation with a hookah. We love him very much, However, all hookahs in Hurghada are closed due to coronavirus and our coral Trevelor guide Halit advised us to buy a hookah, he showed us the way through 2 streets of our hotel (even showed the way) and smoke a hookah on the balcony of the room. That's what we did. We bought a hookah and all the accessories for it, spending about $ 60 and in the evenings we bought a hookah quietly for an hour on the balcony of our room, and on the 5th day a guard saw us and after 5 minutes a delegation from 3 people comes to our room (without a warning call) to select a hookah, which is our kind of property, Just for a second. I immediately call the guide Halit, who advised us to buy a hookah and smoke in the room, and he tells us: "Don't invent anything, I didn't tell you anything, we didn't have any conversation about hookah!" Realizing that there was no one to hope for, I agreed not to smoke hookah anymore, the hotel team of 3 I didn't let the people into the room, they worried us for half an hour in the hotel corridor, insisting on picking him up. For me, it was already a matter of principle. After half an hour, they finally left. The next day, my man and I are relaxing in the room, doing personal business, and then there is a knock on the door - again the brigade showed up and, of course, again without a warning bell, I open the door - they say that they allow us to keep the hookah for ourselves and smoke on the terrace near the pool. I am all in surprise and gratitude, and on the same day, at 10 o'clock in the evening! There is a call from the reception and without any apologies for waking us up (we were already asleep at that time, since an excursion to Luxor was scheduled for the next day from 4 a.m.), the administrator informs us that the management has changed their mind and we still need to give them our hookah. For the sake of principle, I did not give them anything, I gave it to our gornitsky, writing an appropriate donation statement. I am a hotel worker myself with 12 years of experience, at the moment I have been the director of a large four-star hotel in Irkutsk for 300 people for 6 years now, and comparing the level of this hut with my hotel, I am simply horrified! With that, Regina's stars are not confirmed- to be honest, there are 2 of them, but it costs 4!
- the food is of the same type - chicken and beef, no seafood, only fatty fish in batter. Milk was diluted with water, we went to a restaurant For breakfast with our milk. Sausage and cheeses are not edible at all. Of the fruits, only green melon, orange and very rarely bananas. Desserts are tasteless. Strong alcohol was periodically diluted with water. The food is not delicious, the only thing that pleased with the food was fried eggs for breakfast and dinner, there were always dishes on the grill.

Regina Swiss Inn Resort guarantees 4-star accommodation conditions, of which 2 are simply screwed up. The requirements for 4-star hotels are completely ignored.
The problems were as follows :
The waiting time for check-in was 7 hours , because they supposedly check in at 12, but we ended up in the room at 13:30.
The problem of water supply : for several days only steam came from the hot water tap, after a while the problem was fixed. but solving this problem does not solve other equally important problems. There was no warm water in my room at all , the water in the shower was only ice cold and boiling water .
The furniture was in very poor condition, old and shabby.
there was no wi-fi in the room , and the reception was very weak , they didn't even send SMS to whatsapp .
Alcohol and juice , it 's just a disaster . All alcoholic beverages are whiskey. And the juice is water .
The hotel is terrible.
