For me, this place was terrible! Yes, we knew there were cats, but they lie on the tables and sleep. They are not clean, indoor-only cats—they are let outside and then come back and sit on the tables! They can drink water from your glass, and while they will replace it, it’s disgusting. Cat will only be removed if it’s awake; if it’s sleeping, they won’t touch it. The menu is small, but there are some options. My friends and I ordered Turkish meat ravioli—4 portions. Waitress said they would take 20 minutes to prepare, but in the end, it took 45 minutes, which is unacceptable, especially since the café was almost empty. The ravioli were overcooked, the dough was too soft, the meat was tasteless, and everything was drowned in a huge amount of cold yogurt and tomato sauce. It was not good, and we couldn’t finish all four portions. The staff didn’t offer anything—not a discount, not even a small gesture from the café. Customer service was nonexistent. At best, this café is worth stopping by for a cup of coffee and a photo of the old-fashioned interior. Some reviews said it feels like visiting a grandmother’s or aunt’s house, but if that’s the case, then it’s a house where the grandmother can’t cook and wasn’t really expecting you😂

How cozy and cool it is here!🤩 We decided to combine our walk through the Balat district with a small snack in this rather popular cafe. The interior here is amazing: every detail is thought out. It was really comfortable and cozy to be in this catering establishment🥰 Unfortunately, we couldn't find the kittens inside. But we tasted delicious cookies made in the form of cat faces, and excellent homemade lemonade. There's nothing to complain about - everything was great!🫶🏻

We came to this place when we were walking with our daughter in the Baltic Sea. It's beautiful and atmospheric. There were a lot of empty tables. The order was made using Google translator on the phone. The prices are a little too high. But this place is also designed for tourists. There are cats in the cafe, just like everywhere else.

Nice cafe. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast. We ordered lemonade and cheesecake, we liked everything. The atmosphere and interior are wonderful. The cafe is decorated in a vintage style, and the entrance to the toilet is disguised as the door of an old refrigerator - very colorful. The special feature of this cafe is the free access of local cats to the establishment. They can unceremoniously jump on your table and evaluate the quality of your dishes. But this is the peculiarity of the whole of Istanbul.

The place is more instagrammable than really pleasant. It is located at the intersection of busy streets. Turks are driving by in cars and swearing, crowds of tourists are walking. I sat on an uncomfortable, rickety chair outside. Tourists almost climbed on top of me to admire and photograph a local cat. For 250 lire, I took a glass of tea and 2 tiny squares of baklava. Up close, the situation is shabby. I won't say it's super clean. The staff speak English and serve us fairly quickly.

But if cats bother you, the female workers will come up and help you! The atmosphere is calm. There are many different decorative elements inside the cafe - paintings, figurines, lamps. Of note to me: cute coffee cups, a menu in the form of a handwritten letter, a jar from Germany from under liqueurs is used for storing toothpicks!! The toilet is clean, well-groomed. The entrance to the toilet is through the refrigerator, it sounds and looks very funny))) Food and drinks are on the level. Good value for money! My husband ordered an "omelet with cheese" - he was very pleased! And there is a lot of cheese, and not enough butter! I took Breakfast Naftalin, the girl warned me in advance that it was two toasts with pasta, cheese and ... I already forgot ... but it's very tasty! I also recommend it! Drinks are top!! And the cups are top! I really liked coffee in Turkey with milk and Americano with milk for my husband.)) In general, I advise you to visit the institution!
