We went here for lunch on a tour. This restaurant made us realize that there are many differences between the capital and the provinces of Uzbekistan. The entrance looked like a food stall, and we wondered if we would be eating lunch in a place like this! The food served was also more sophisticated than other places, and was easy to eat. However, please note that this restaurant does not serve alcohol during the day.

Mar-Mar makes a generally pleasant impression. The interior is modern, cozy, and the atmosphere is calm. The staff is polite, the service is fast enough. The dishes are delicious, the portions are quite large, which pleases. Prices, as a rule, correspond to the quality, although some items seemed a little overpriced. On the downside, it can sometimes be noisy, especially during rush hours, and it's not always easy to find an empty table without making a reservation. I would also like a little more variety in the menu. Otherwise, it is a worthy place for family dinners and meetings with friends, we can safely recommend it.

Overall, the restaurant is not bad. We visited Uzbekistan recently, in the middle of October 2025, the hotel was nearby, so we often came here for a snack. I liked the dishes, we took lagman, soups, kebabs, and other dishes, I don't remember the names. Everything was delicious. The prices are acceptable. But the waiters serve for a long time, they are not attentive to the guests, I understand that it is necessary to take into account the cooking time, there are no complaints here. But when I asked to bring a flatbread or tea, or a lunch box to take part of the order with me, (i.e. there were 3 such cases) you wait for 20 minutes, but they didn't bring it, they stand talking to each other on the sidelines. You approach them, and they forget...It's an outrage. It happened not once, but three times on three different days, three different employees. I took off my star for that. I took off the second star for a tasteless flatbread. Obviously not fresh. It's like the day before yesterday. Uzbekistan is famous for delicious tortillas, I would like them to be fresh here, from the heat from the heat. Moreover, they had no other bread. When we booked a room for 15 people, there were almost no complaints during the banquet. The service is good, the dishes are delicious, you can lick your fingers, but except for bread. I hope the management will take the feedback into account and resolve the issue of cooking tortillas in the restaurant itself, and will work on the mistakes with the staff.

A wonderful cafe with a wide selection of national and European dishes on the menu. They work around the clock, so you can safely go in for a snack at night and early in the morning, while everything is still closed. Excellent pilaf and kebabs. I liked the restaurant, we were able to visit it only once. Beautiful interior, very polite staff, the menu is offered on a tablet, it is convenient. We ordered a salad of crispy eggplant, pilaf, salad of fresh vegetables, beef roll. The portions are large, they cook quickly, and most importantly everything is very tasty, high-quality (without negative consequences for the stomach), the price for dinner was pleasantly surprised. But then it got really disgusting: there was a long black hair stuck in the glass, and in the robes we found another, short one. After that, the appetite disappeared completely. At least the address is on the street.Rustaveli, the restaurant itself is located inside the block and does not catch the eye. There is a large hall, there is an open veranda. The menu is quite diverse. The waiters are nice, smiling and ready to help, but in my opinion, they are either not very well trained or have problems with non-Uzbek languages. But that's not a problem. They are in their own country.

Now about the cons: the 15% service charge is indicated only in the receipt after the fact. You will not find any instructions about this in the menu. We were here in early January 2025. My wife ordered a dolma. I liked the dish. My daughter ordered an eggplant salad and some beef. The salad was delicious, the meat was a little harsh. I took a leg of mutton, they promised that it would be soft, as they used to take a knuckle. But no, the meat was tough, my wife couldn't even chew it. Berry tea is delicious. There are tablecloths on the tables, I would like to look fresher. The general situation is normal, without any frills, birds are chirping from the speakers. If you want to drink alcoholic beverages, then immediately warn the staff, there is a separate room for this, alcohol is not served in the common room.

A great place, we ordered 3 types of shish kebab (lumpy beef, ground beef, chicken) very tasty, decent shish kebab, large pieces, juicy, spices all in moderation. We also ordered a Chirocchi salad. They took different ones: it turned out to be a little raw with potatoes, a little salty with chicken (but this is common), and the meat filling is a little harsh.
