Ruins of the church of St. Olof (Olaf). It was built in the 12th century on the site of an older church. Later, in the 13th century, the Dominicans came here. St. Olof's Church and the neighboring St. Per's Church are the oldest stone churches in Uppland, built by Anglo-Saxon craftsmen. Before the defeat of Sigtuna by pirates in 1164, the bishop's residence was located in Sigtuna, then he fled to Uppsala. The church was abandoned already in the 17th century and by the end of the 17th century it had turned into ruins. Entering the ruins is allowed at your own risk. A runic stone is embedded in one of the walls. At the foot of one of the walls there is a well, the water in which was considered holy.
