We arrived as a group of tourists according to the program, the hosts laid a hearty table, sat down tightly - 2 tables for 11 people.
2 salads for 5 people - but delicious.
Snacks - pickles, also delicious.
The main thing is a barbecue, one plate for 4-5 people. Basically, tourists are fed ILLIQUID pork - one fat. The chicken is just wings. Sweets, nuts are delicious. Fruits and vegetables are delicious.
Because of the barbecue, I bet 3 …

This is an amazing place!
Sargis is the host and the chef is an amazing person. We touched the Armenian tradition of hospitality and cordiality by visiting this place!

We arrived after the tour to refresh ourselves. A huge Armenian table was set for us. Everything was very tasty and huge portions!
We recommend it to everyone!
The owner of the establishment, together with his family, has been keeping it for many years and still keep a winery nearby. The wine is excellent, and they also treated me to vodka and cognac.

Today we were at this wonderful restaurant. Very cozy, beautiful and sooo delicious 🤗
The host is very hospitable and lovely. The barbecue was great. And the Caesar salad even surprised me, it was so unusually delicious. Compote, wine, cognac, apricot and dogwood vodka, tea. Assorted vegetables... Very beautiful 🤗

We really wanted to try the local cuisine.. and especially hash..
And so, our guide and our driver, by the way, both Davids, agreed in advance, the night before, with the owner Sarkis, to prepare hash for us. Well.... What can I say....... It's sooooo delicious!!!!! And at all.. the situation itself.. They WERE WAITING FOR us!!! The table was set with national phenomena... apricot vodka .. and ........ It makes no sense to list...
Definitely recommend it!!!!! This place is warm! Heartfelt! Very homely .. I want to come back here... I don't want to leave here....

A great place to stop on the way to Tatev. Super-tasty, we ordered an Armenian table - we got a whole show and great pleasure. The owner is very hospitable and attentive, the food is excellent, you can buy a view from the winery with you. They left well-fed and happy!

A divine institution, the owner personally prepares everything for you, insanely delicious, Armenian hospitality in all its glory. This is the most delicious place where we have been, it does not compare at all with Lavash, Katsin, Garden, Sherep, Caucasian captive, khinakalnaya on Tumanyan, Yerevan tavern. The tandoor kebab is just a fire. All salads and snacks are very tasty.
In short, I advise everyone in order to feel the whole flavor of Yerevan, that incredible taste.

A great place, a very sincere host, extremely delicious food, beautiful!
We saw a score of 5.0, didn't believe it, decided to check it out. We confirm! There is simply nothing to find fault with!!
We were lucky, there were no people, but it may be busy. It is better to clarify it by phone in advance.
The owner accepted the order and advised to walk to the river while the barbecue is being prepared. It was a magical walk, exactly what you need! The village is picturesque, you can look at storks, they nest here on every second pillar!

It was 14.09. Amazing place and amazing owner/chef. This is probably the best place in Armenia where we managed to eat. I recommend everyone to stop by, even if you have to make a detour. And it's better to come there as a passenger to try all the local drinks)

A very authentic and interesting place. We stopped by with a guide after the tour. The tavern and everything around it belongs to the same family. They grow everything themselves, and offer guests a snack with what is prepared from their own products. They make their own wine and peach "cognac" (very fragrant). The wine of their production is even presented in Yerevan duty free.
By our arrival, a table of cheeses, pickles and snacks was simply set. Then the kebabs are cooked.
Tasty and acceptable for the money.

Oooh, this place has a special respect. This is the first restaurant in my life that alcohol has put out right away. Wine and cognac were in the glasses at once. This is the pride of the Matevosyan family. As the owner himself explained: he is the younger brother, the elder is engaged in winemaking, the middle garden, and the younger knows how to serve it all. The charm is incredible, the taste is divine, the surroundings are unforgettable. Thanks to our guide for bringing us here.
P.S. Don't be surprised if you are asked to get the kebab out of the oven yourself. It's unforgettable. Apricot cognac too

If you want to know how to feed in Armenian, then here you are! Incredibly tasty, huge portions, fresh and high-quality products. We stopped by by accident and are ready to recommend it to everyone. We will definitely come back on occasion. Tandoor kebab is the most delicious kebab I've ever tasted. They also took homemade cheese, ideal for wine, spas, summer salad and Matevosyan's signature salad, potatoes baked in a tandoor with meat.
We met at home, told the story of the Matevosyan brothers. Thank you very much!
