If you are walking along Istiklal Street, be sure to check out this place: something like a cafeteria /canteen with local regular cuisine - fast and inexpensive, we are for the whole meal (three dishes and a salad) + they gave away only 810TL of coke and water. We chose quite a few, but we really liked all the dishes - I really liked the beans with boiled meat, the local pepper is very spicy, I say right away, take the yogurt sauce, it will save you. The dishes are balanced, there are even PP and vegan options. The meat is delicious, the peppers and meat are awesome. You can pay with both a card and cash.
