Very interesting and well done. The art and artifacts are labeled in Uzbek and English. There is a virtual app to download while there that works well for some, but not others. Still worth trying. History buffs will love it

Beautiful. Full of informative pieces. The artwork was phenomenal, the artifacts were spectacular, and the tour guide was informative. Definitely would go again.

Oh my God, this museum, which was built for a great leader like Amir Timur, turned out to be a huge disappointment for me. Unfortunately, there’s almost nothing in the museum. Many artifacts are missing. They’ve either put up poor replicas or faded photographs in their place. You won’t find any proper artifacts, and even if you do, there’s no explanation or description provided for them in the museum. As for the entrance fee, forget 50,000 sum—even 5,000 sum is too much for what’s offered here. I sincerely hope the Uzbek government takes better care of these historical treasures soon and demonstrates a more professional approach to museum curation. For now, I definitely think this place is not worth your time.
