I am delighted with the museum building itself! Pompous and majestic! There are not enough exhibits. Many are presented in the form of dummies. It is a pity that the originals are in different museums around the world. There is little representation of folk and applied art. And these places are so rich in craftsmen!
Be sure to book a guided tour.

And you stupidly have coins, dishes, clothes everywhere, glass cards everywhere, decorative molding of chandeliers ceilings. It doesn't bother anyone. And it should lure and want to come here again for emotions

The museum is beautiful and Majestic. Many exhibits from the time of Amir Temur have been collected. Many of them are fake. Mostly paintings, clothes, armor, household items and so on.
There is a problem with parking.

The rivers Don - Tana, Volga - Edil (Itil), Ural - Yaik (Zhaiyk), Feodosia - Kafa, Astrakhan - Kazhy Tarkhan. Battle sites near Kunduzcha (now Samara). Many of the exhibits are in copies, the originals are scattered all over the world. It is recommended to visit.

The price of a ticket for a tourist (yes, they will ask for a passport at the checkout) is decently inflated!
Uzbek entry is 15 thousand, Russian 60 thousand.
Let them walk by themselves.
There is a park of souvenir shops inside.
Souvenirs are different, 90% of it is naturally Chinese junk, but the prices are quite affordable
