I watched several performances from the repertoire in this theater! I have never been disappointed! I will be in Tashkent, I will definitely go and probably more than once! I wish the team creative success and prosperity!

An amazing theater. We have already watched two performances. And we will not leave Tashkent until we have seen the entire repertoire of this theater. Well, or you'll have to come again. There are very few such theaters in St. Petersburg. And there are few in Moscow.

I would like to have a more modern repertoire. The buffet does not accept cards, only cash. The choice is small.
The lobby is very nice.
I watched the play "Three Tall Women". Not bad! But with the age of the actresses playing 52 and 92 year old women, we probably need to think about something... swap them, as an option, in places... otherwise, you get confused during the performance

The most unusual theater in Tashkent. Great acting, unforgettable cozy atmosphere of the hall, as well as the hall itself. I love Ilkhom for the people and the atmosphere.

I was at the Tartuffe play. I didn't really like the performance of some of the actors, mostly young ones, who just rattle off the text. It seems that they themselves do not delve into what they are saying. The actors, who can be seen that they have been on stage for a long time, were very different in a positive way.

Watching a performance at the Ilkhom Theater is one of the main events during a visit to the capital of Uzbekistan. True citizens themselves never miss such an opportunity.

Before leaving Uzbekistan, I decided to visit the Ilkhom Theater. Having bought a ticket on the website, I went to the theater on the appointed day. It turned out to be difficult to find him. Like all visitors, I was using the navigator, but I still got lost. At first I saw a bright cinema building with signs, posters and everything that such places usually have. kind people told me where the theater was, and I found myself in some kind of nook without signs and posters. And only small inscriptions on the columns, which are difficult to see from afar, told me that this is the Ilkhom theater. I was exactly 5 minutes late. At the entrance, a man with a sly look told me to wait for the administration. After about 7 minutes, I saw people walking slowly up the stairs. A young woman with a smirk and triumph in her eyes asked me what I wanted... I was taken aback. Indeed, what can a woman want at the entrance to the theater with a ticket in her hands? I must have come for mushrooms...I said I was going to attend the play. But again, with the same grin, she replied that latecomers were not allowed in. They have a CHAMBER hall. I felt like just a village bugger. Neither the Moscow Art Theater, nor the Tretyakov Gallery, nor the Hermitage left such an "indelible" impression in my soul as this non-visit by Ilham. They explained to me that there is a chamber hall there... And other theaters probably have a barn, so you can go there after the start. By profession, I often accompany foreigners to theaters, museums and other places, and this is the first time I have encountered this. I know that there are special conditions that a self-respecting institution announces on the ticket in large letters. For example, the entrance to the museum ends half an hour before closing time. But there was nothing like that on the ticket! Dear tourists! There is a wonderful Navoi Opera House in Tashkent, where a FREE tour was held for Russians who came to the conference. Wonderful attentive people work there, and the performances are on top! There is an excellent Russian Drama Theater and an Operetta Theater here. Go there! They are waiting for you there! It is clear that tourists can get lost and be late. They'll find a place for you! These theaters are interested in development, which provides new opportunities for the influx of Russian tourists. And what about Ilkhom? And he will remain a gray theater in a back alley and without a sign, but with star-studded employees who are not interested in the development of the theater, nor in its reputation, nor in its advertising. And my evening was hopelessly ruined, and the money was lost...

I've only heard of such theaters before, but it turns out there is one in Tashkent. This is a modern theater, a new presentation of the material - not like in a classical theater with a large distance between the audience and the actors. Very cool

An outstanding World theater. A large chunk of the life of several generations of Tashkent residents, a visual embodiment of the Tashkent melting pot, Performances are switching from Russian to Uzbek and back, as often happens in Tashkent. People and characters treat each other's otherness with humor and warmth. I left each performance with the feeling that being a Human Being is cool, life is wonderful, despite all the difficulties, you can fall, but you have to get up and go, do not lower the bar. Viva Ilkhom!
