Qatar- love at first sight! Историко-краеведческий музей, в котором представлена история Катара от древних времен до наших дней. Интересно как само здание, построенное в футуристическом стиле, так и экспозиция, содержащая множество интерактива, интересного как для взрослых, так и для детей. Недостаток для российского туриста - отсутствие русского аудиогида, без которого многое останется непонятным. Можно договориться с русскоязычными гидами в Дохе о включении музея в экскурсию. Билеты действительны на три дня с момента покупки, так что можно в первый день посетить музей с гидом, а затем более подробно осмотреть его в последующие дни.

Не так давно в Дохе открылась новая достопримечательность – Национальный музей Катара.
Музей занимает огромную территорию (Чтобы обойти весь музей, придется осмотреть 11 галерей – а это почти три километра), а само здание спроектировано в форме розы пустыни.
Экспозиция разделена по смыслу на три части: «Начало», «Жизнь в Катаре» и «Современная история Катара». Это самый настоящий рассказ об истории полуострова и его современности.
Особенно впечатляет видеопроекция и освещение, которые создают ощущение, что вы сами являетесь частью видеофрагмента.
В музее множество интерактивных экспонатов, сенсорных экранов, прикоснувшись к которым можно изучить различные изображения. Для детей предусмотрены целые комнаты с дисплеями и обучающими видеоиграми

Отличный современный интерактивный музей. Потрясающая архитектура самого здания. История, география, археология, флора и фауна. Может быть интересен и взрослым и детям. Для деток есть специально отведенные места, где они могут потрогать руками экспонаты.
