On July 28, 2025, our youngest son suffered a serious grade II burn at the Activist day camp located on the territory of the Baltic Beach Hotel in Jurmala. The child was doused with boiling water, access to which was free for children — the boiling water was in the cooler without restrictions, without staff supervision. The injury was caused by another child, but the organization of space and safety is the camp's area of responsibility. As a result, the child received a burn, medical care at BKUS, was excluded from the camp for 2 weeks, suffers from pain and cannot walk. Instead of support and responsibility, the organizer terminated the contract with us unilaterally, citing "incomplete payment" — immediately after we filed an official claim.
