I absolutely did not like it, we went for coffee and croissant, it turned out they are served only in the morning. The coffee is ordinary. The service is not very good, they brought glasses of water holding them by the top with their hand, they don't know what hygiene is here. There's a queue in the bathroom, and it turns out you have to leave a tip, of course. We haven't tasted the food.

There are constant queues, but this is the norm for Paris. I didn't like the hot chocolate, the usual cocoa, the pancakes were also not airy and slightly warm, the onion soup and salad with strachella were not enthusiastic. The time in the queue was wasted.

An interesting place with a history thanks to the various creative people who spent time there. I learned about this cafe based on the musical composition of the same name. And when I visited the cafe, I was amazed that there was no music playing there at all, no music at all. But the souvenir shop around the corner was selling this CD and playing music. In the cafe in the morning, people mostly drank coffee, few people ate anything. We're the only ones who had a big breakfast there. The toilet in the cafe is paid.

The most interesting thing about this cafe is its history. It is more than 100 years old, if you think about which of the great writers and impressionist artists met in this cafe. We discussed literature and painting, theater and social life of that time, then you perceive this institution as an object of cultural heritage. As for just a cafe , as a place to eat , a typical tourist destination . Sitting down to have a coffee or a glass of wine and admire Paris , as we mostly imagine it, is a great idea. I recommend.
