My friends and I visited Freedom Square with the statue of St. George in Tbilisi, and this is really the heart of the city. This is a great place to start hiking in Tbilisi, as there are many tourist streets nearby, including Leselidze. The square is very beautiful and iconic, with many shops, cafes and restaurants. There are always a lot of tourists, but it adds a special atmosphere.
