Definitely worth seeing. The collection includes manuscripts, textiles and ceramics. It is one of the world's most complete collections of Islamic artifacts, with items originating in Spain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, India, and Central Asia.

An absolutely wonderful museum. There are 5 floors inside: the first one is for souvenirs and cafes, the second and third represent a permanent exhibition, the fourth is a temporary exhibition and on the fifth there is a restaurant. The permanent exhibition definitely deserves your attention. It took me about two hours. The temporary exhibition now contains a story about the creation of the museum, which consists of four halls, which are completed in 20-30 minutes. The temporary exhibition is interesting from the point of view of museum construction. When you have already admired, admired and looked at everything, come up and you will find out how this building was built in general. I definitely recommend it!

It is declared to be an art museum, but in this unique exhibition complex in Doha you can learn not only about creativity, but also about everyday life in the Islamic world in different historical periods. The exhibits date back to the period from the 7th to the 20th century, that is, the entire time of the existence of the Islamic religion. The Museum of Islamic Art, or MIA, as it says on all maps and in all guidebooks, has one of the largest such collections in the world: ancient books, weapons, jewelry, dishes, and so on are collected here. Exhibits from China to Andalusia, over the last 14 centuries. The museum has been operating since 2008. The author of the architectural masterpiece is an American architect of Chinese origin, Yu Ming Pei. The place was chosen beautifully - on a man-made island among the sea water near a beautiful park of the same name. The views from both the shore and the sea are very beautiful.

Why is there an Islamic museum and not an Arab art museum? Because all 4 floors have history and exhibits from Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan, India, etc. Is it worth a visit? anyone who is interested in history is at least a little unambiguous - these are genuine art objects of the 12th-19th centuries. Admission is free for residents, and for tourists 50 (for schoolchildren 25) reals. It takes a whole day to get to know and explore the entire museum, so you need to go early. There are many copies of Koran from different countries, and there is even an astronomical map of the stars. Who does not know English. You need to charge your phone and Google Translate will help you. The most insulting thing about Kazakhs is that they also have a very deep and interesting history, but the evil called the USSR practically destroyed the entire history of our people for 70 years (one example is who found Koran at home, they were immediately tried and sent into exile). Qatar may have fought at all times, but they were not in a colony called the USSR, so they were able to preserve all these masterpieces before us, for which they are respected.

An amazing museum! At one of the stops of the Persian Gulf cruise, we got off at the port of Doha. The sightseeing tour did not involve a deep dive into the Qatari reality, but we got an idea of the city. One of the highlights was a visit to this museum. An amazing exposition, which, unfortunately, did not have enough time for a full inspection. I hope to come back again!

An amazing number of different exhibits, an interesting immersion in history. To get around everything, you need to have enough time and energy. Tickets can be bought fairly quickly, there are no queues.

Four floors of a stunning exhibition where you can immerse yourself in the world of bygone eras. Unfortunately, there was an annoying inaccuracy: the Armenian carpets were mistakenly identified as Turkish. this highlights the importance of careful and accurate study of the history of each subject.🧐 And the architecture of the museum itself resembles an impregnable fortress that grew right out of the waves.

A must-visit in Doha, located on the embankment next to the park, the ticket is 1,500 rubles. the jewelry collection is impressive, of course not the diamond fund, but it's worth it, the cool view of the skyscrapers, the "instagram" arches)

Qatar surprises with many things. Cleanliness, hospitality. And architecture. The Museum of Islamic Art is proof of this. Atmospheric shapes, beautiful views. I really enjoyed the visit.

Ladder-loving girls, come here! There's such a staircase here!!!! You will have 100,500 photos here. And for everyone else, there is an interesting exposition of weapons for men and women's clothing for girls. It's better to take a guide, it's not so interesting without him.

This is the most aesthetic museum I've been to. Everything is thought out both inside and out. I want to take pictures from all angles. We paid in cash and walked for about 3-4 hours on all floors and expositions of the museum. There is free Wi-Fi. The filling of the exhibits is quite good, there are amazing pieces of jewelry and weapons. The territory of the museum resembles the footage of the film Dune.

If you compare it with the national museum, then I liked this one much more. The first floor just seemed a little sparse to me... The main exhibits are on the second and third floors. It takes 2-3 hours to get carried away

One of the main museums of the country! Be sure to visit! It is very beautiful, both in the museum itself and the adjacent park. I do not recommend visiting on Friday. The park turns into a place of mass celebrations, a lot of people.

The Museum of Islamic Art is one of the attractions of Qatar🇧🇭 The original building is located on an island on the shore of the bay. The halls exhibit ancient manuscripts, textiles, metal and ceramic products, jewelry and daggers collected in different countries of the world (Central Asia, Egypt, Spain, Turkey, Pakistan, Syria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran). I can't say that I like to visit museums, but still the Museum of Islamic Art is very interesting. It is worth getting in touch with the local culture and history. In addition, the view from the museum (especially in the evening) is really impressive🌆

A very beautiful blooming park next to the main building of the museum. The museum's collection (relative to our museums) is not very large, but it is interesting. Outside and inside there is a very interesting architecture and design. There are cafes, grocery vending machines, and a souvenir shop. The entrance fee is 50 rials. Attention! There is a dress code!

An interesting little museum. It's very cold on the 3rd floor. The entrance is 50 reais. This is 900 rubles at the current exchange rate. The shop at the museum is not bad, but souvenirs in it are more expensive than, for example, in the market and there is less choice. Unfortunately, tourism is not developed in Doha. You can only get to the museum by taxi. It's inexpensive, but taxi drivers charge 5 more reais on top, even uber. They only have a cache. It is impossible to walk around the city in such heat (late September at 40 degrees). There are few shops, no people, only cars.

The museum is free. Interesting art objects are presented in the comfortable halls. Of the cons: there is nowhere to sit down to eat inside the building. After buying food in a cafe, you need to go through the hall to the open veranda, which is very inconvenient in the sun and wind.
