We had a great pleasure walking around the oldest Baku zoo. We went on Monday specifically so that there would be fewer people. You guessed it - there's no one at the box office, we bought tickets - 15 manats each - it's expensive, but you can survive)) A cozy, clean, well-maintained zoo. It's not very big, but it's more of a plus than a minus. We walked through all the enclosures slowly, and some of them hung like children! The crocodile made them stick to the glass, the flamingos surprised with a family scandal, listened to the menacing roar of our Amur tiger - impressive to the point of goosebumps! We had a great time! Pine trees, lots of benches where you can relax, a cafe about Alice from Wonderland, toilets, a playground. Come for good emotions! 🫶🏻🌷

Nice zoo, small but well maintained, new, thoughtful for visitors. The animals are clean, no odors. There is a cafe with excellent prices and cuisine to the left of the zoo entrance. For non-residents, the price for both children and adults is 15 manats.

The visit to the Baku Zoo was a pleasant event that brought unforgettable emotions and vivid impressions. Located in a picturesque corner of the city, the zoo welcomes guests with a well-groomed territory, neat paths and spacious aviaries that create comfortable conditions for both animals and visitors. A special impression was made by the variety of animal species and the caring attitude of the staff towards the park's inhabitants. Here you can see exotic birds, large predators, rare reptiles and many other representatives of the animal world. The cubs of different animals turned out to be especially charming — it was a pleasure to watch their playfulness and curiosity. I would also like to mention the well-thought-out infrastructure: comfortable benches, cafes with delicious food and soft drinks, playgrounds for children. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the territory and the attentive policing of the staff. Of course, visiting such an institution leaves a pleasant aftertaste and a desire to return again. I recommend that all guests of Baku include the Baku Zoo in the list of mandatory places to visit. A great holiday option for families with children and just lovers of wildlife! 🐾✅

Complete delight ! We arrived on a weekday at 11 a.m., skipped between two excursion groups for children (there are many school excursions on weekdays) so I didn't have to stand in line. The exposure is not large, but it's better to have less, but better! Clean enclosures, happy animals. In the exoterrarium, the water with fish and crocodiles is crystal clear! There is a guide who talks very interestingly. It was with great pleasure that we walked along the air paths, the 5-year-old child was delighted. This is the first zoo where animals look like they live in a sanatorium instead of in prison. By the way, the zoo also has a playground, which I personally also really liked! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

One of the best zoos in the former Soviet Union, clean and well maintained, with huge enclosures. The zoo's inhabitants look and feel great. It is not as huge as Moscow, but it is very well thought out: walking paths along the wooden flooring along the aviaries create the impression of a walk in nature, lots of trees and greenery. The entrance fee for tourists is 15 manats (about 1,000 rubles), and this money is nothing compared to the emotions and great mood received)

After the reconstruction, this is a paradise, the children are delighted. You need to come for at least 3-4 hours. Although the square is small, the maze of bridges, passages and nooks pleases visitors on a sultry day. Well-groomed and well-fed animals play, entertaining guests. I still did not understand their working hours, because it is written on the Internet until 17.30, but in fact we went out at 18.30 somewhere, and the cash register was still working. If you are in Baku with a child, then it is definitely worth visiting, if not, then it depends on how much you love zoos and how much free time you have. There are no most interesting animals (no giraffes, hippos, elephants, pandas). But the zoo itself is clean, the animals are clearly visible, and the tiger can be seen at all up close if you go down to the hatch with water. You can also climb to the observation deck (located at the bears at the end of the zoo). I really liked the bears: mom and two cubs. There are also a lot of deer, there are peacocks, flamingos, bison, tigers, lions, cheetah, etc.

Three stars will probably seem offensive to the zoo staff. I will explain why the assessment is like this. New buildings blocked the second entrance to the zoo, while no one thought to make changes to the maps. The zoo is quiet, peaceful, families and schoolchildren are walking. There is no special variety of animals: ungulates, birds, familiar predators, aquariums and terrarium. Impressive is a tiger walking half a meter behind the glass, and a bear family climbing trees. I really wanted to have lunch, sit in the warmth, and there were only lemonade trays around. Found under a summer cafe (try to find it!) a wonderful children's institution in the style of Alice through the Looking Glass. Inexpensive and delicious. In general, attention would be to the zoo, but money. By the way, we were charged for the entrance in full, tourists!!

I liked the zoo, the territory is nice, green, quite clean. There are tigers, lions, jaguar, camels, bison. The children liked it. I took off the star for the fact that the entrance is 3 manats for locals, 15 for tourists. We have a family of 5 people, this comes out as an amount for 15 people, well, too much. You can go once for the sake of the children, there is an interesting observation deck, a really cool solution.
