One of the first places to visit the sightseeing program in Tashkent. The historical facts related to the construction of the building have not remained in memory. The blue domes and the richly decorated mosaic portal of the main entrance were impressive. I remember a small and bustling courtyard with a large number of tourists and merchants occupying all the classrooms. A real oriental flavor. They showed how they wore the burqa, looked at simple souvenirs, and went to a nearby park to relax..

Stunning views, beautiful domes, charming minarets, blue azure everywhere, I just want to stay here. Everything is clean around, manicured lawn and flower beds, police post. It's very peaceful here

Historical architectural monument This ancient madrasah building, part of the Hazrati Imam ensemble, is located in the inner part with access to a large, spacious paved square. It looks very interesting, with expressive architecture and patterns on the facades. The building has been preserved quite well, various shops and workshops of merchants and craftsmen are located inside, where various handmade items and souvenirs are sold, and rooms in former classrooms have also been allocated for the local administration of the Masulman of Uzbekistan. Tourists and locals stroll in the courtyard between the shops, which is quite crowded, even on a weekday. It is interesting to have a storm sewer system, special ladders-holes baked from ceramics to match the paved paths made of brick, pipes from which extend towards low-lying places to drain rainwater.

It's a very nice place, even though it's a new building. Tiles are also being laid on the square. The oldest Quran is located here.

Mid-June 2025. The mosque and the surrounding area are being renovated. Accordingly, there is no way to approach him. Very sorry. It's beautiful from far away. If you are going to visit, please ask if the repair has been completed, if not, then I do not advise you to waste time visiting.

An incredible Madrasah. One of the first ones we saw upon arrival in Tashkent. Inside there is a small market of interesting souvenirs and things (shawls, abayas, capes). It was during the Holy Month, so they distributed water and dates in the square.

Atmospheric. Mosques in Tashkent are a separate work of art. When you look at every detail, the combination of colors, you can't tear yourself away. The location is also interesting. And the people are sincere and pleasant.

My first trip to Uzbekistan, I was very impressed by the size and beauty of such old buildings. During the renovation work, everything was beautifully equipped and the locations were beautiful.

There is nothing unusual and this is not a madrasah, but a building for the souvenir trade.

An interesting place, but repairs are still underway, unfortunately, I did not find where to read the prayer, perhaps I was looking for it badly. Kind of like the center of Islam

The building itself is pretty, with an impressive entrance, a beautiful dome, and carvings. There are only small shops around, which turned the former religious educational institution into a bazaar. It's better to go to the Kukeldash too, there's the right atmosphere.

The building is from the 16th century, completely restored inside. Students' classes are shown, and an instructional video is shown. It is located in the complex. If you are visiting the complex, it is worth visiting. It wasn't very interesting for us after Khiva

The former Barakhana Palace, now a clothing market for tourists. The prices correspond to the location, about 3-5 times more expensive than at the clothing market in Chorsu. But there is a pleasant exception, an Abdugani salesman works to the left of the main store, a scarf made of natural silk is 15-16 dollars (about 1 thousand rubles at the exchange rate on November 22, 2025), the colors are not intrusive, the seller sets the thread on fire for authenticity.I recommend.

The place is interesting, partly historical, but rather historically commercial. There are many souvenir shops of local artisans, there is something to choose for gifts. The quality of local artisan products is good. It's also a good place for a walk, near a small park and a new complex with a mosque, which will be launched soon. I recommend.

A beautiful square, a good place for a photo. Various national souvenirs are sold in the madrasah. On a hot day, there are alleys with shops under the pines nearby. You can walk around the neighboring old mahali.

Worthy of a visit. Souvenir shops are located in the building of the former madrasa, there is an opportunity to get an idea of the space in which the students studied. The cells are quite small. A cozy courtyard. Very beautiful majolica at the entrance

One of the few historical sites of old Tashkent. It is part of the Hazrati Imam complex. There are trees and grass around, it is very picturesque. Inside the madrasah, local artisans and artists are happy to offer various goods, souvenirs, paintings, and original crafts.

Barokkhan madrasa is a Madrasa built in Tashkent (1531/32 — 2nd half of the 16th century). The courtyard was surrounded by cells and a pedestal on the inner side, and the western part of the madrasa was slightly forward. The foundation is made of stone, the thick walls are made of brick of different sizes. Some areas are Hinchley. On the site of the barokkhan madrasa, there was originally 2 (large and small) mausoleums. There is a Baroque tomb in the small mausoleum. Three of its doors on all four sides were hidden later (from the rest of the door to the roof with a staircase). A large mausoleum, converted into a mosque in 1904, houses the Tomb of Suyunchkhoja, the governor of Tashkent. Barokkhan built a Madrasa containing two mausoleums. The huge pedestal on the east side of the madrasa is gleaned from colorful glazed bricks. It is framed by geometric and girih patterns. The top of the pedestal is not preserved. On the back of the main pedestal there is again a pedestal and a five-pointed ravine. The inner pedestal on the West Side was a component of the blue dome.

Barakhan Madrasah. Built in the 16th century. One of the oldest places in the old part of Tashkent city. It is located in the Khast Imam complex. The ancient building is included in the UNESCO List. I definitely recommend it!!!

It is located in the opposite part, next to the Hazrati Imam. An interesting place. In general, a large ensemble. There is a place to walk. The air is clean. People are launching kites on the square.
