This Mausoleum was a hidden gem. I won't spoil it but it is a nice quick stop to add on to your regular Samarkand touring. It is conveniently located behind the Mausoleum of Amir Temur so you don't have to go out of your way to visit this beautiful location. It looks humble on the outside but for only 10000som is worth a peek!

A small mausoleum with a beautifully decorated interior. Admission is for a nominal fee. The mausoleum is located next to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Usually tourists avoid it without noticing, but in vain. Very beautiful!

It is located very close to Gur Emir, but unlike the huge number of people there, we were the only visitors here. When they came up, it was closed, they opened it in front of us. They did not announce the money for the entrance, they said that we can leave as much as we want in the donation box. Outwardly it looks very modest, but inside it is so beautiful. It is unknown for whom this mausoleum was built in the 15th century and scientists have not yet established.

Unfortunately, they didn't get inside, because they told us "starting today, the entrance is paid." I was not mentally ready for this. And outside, the mausoleum is like a mausoleum. Next to Gur Emir - that's where the scale is (it's not a pity to pay)!
