The stunningly beautiful temple is an island of Orthodoxy in a Muslim country. The service is in Russian, all Russian speakers, and the choir sings incredibly beautifully. Two floors, lots of icons, bright. The deacon has a very beautiful voice. General confession, after communion.

Everything is available for visiting. St. Philip's Church belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), the church was illuminated by Patriarch Kirill. The impression of the church is bright, the church was full at the service on Sunday. Singing from the choir accompanied the divine service beautifully. There is a small art gallery in the adjacent building. Works by modern masters on biblical subjects.

We attended Sunday service on March 9 after the first week of Great Lent and were genuinely surprised by the large number of Russian parishioners. When you enter a church, it's like you're at home.Truth.So many of our parishionersWe got to the end of the service.By the way, my father also conducts the service in Russian.There were parishioners and foreigners, and they communicated with the priest in English. The temple is incredible🙏🏻♥️Very nice inside,bright,spacious.I brought a small personalized icon as a gift for myself. It will warm my soul for many years and will remain in my memory forever as the best "souvenir". It is from this icon that I want to introduce the tradition of bringing small icons from other countries, if possible. Regarding prices, I must say right away that there is a different pricing here. I took candles with me from Russia + bought them there (I only managed to buy 3 candles, but they are big).So stock up on dirhams, preferably in cash. If you will be in Sharjah or Dubai, then be sure to come here, it's worth it.A wonderful place and an indescribable atmosphere of Orthodox life, even far from home.🙏🏻♥️ Even inside the temple, on the other side of the entrance, there is a shop where a very nice foreign woman sells church pastries for parishioners. Travel by public transport from Dubai was 99 dirhams for two round trips. If you go like this, you won't be able to get to the liturgy on time, since the subway in Dubai starts at 8 o'clock. For a donation, you can take water from the refrigerator in the church shop. There is a private toilet in the next building. We were on Myrrh-Bearing Wives. There are a lot of people in the temple who are loyal to their appearance, and there were those who were wearing girls' trousers, nothing. If you are traveling from another emirate yourself, you should know that there will be confession, you can receive communion, but there is only a question of water. How can you not drink if you're driving in this heat? Or is it still possible....

A beautiful Orthodox church consecrated in honor of the Apostle Jesus Christ Philip. The temple is very bright with gold trim, nothing superfluous, a pleasant atmosphere at the service. The rector, Father Alexander, is a wonderful, educated, kind person, very pleasant in communication, loving and knowledgeable in his work. There is a Russian cultural center near the temple. The church has a wonderful choir and a professional regent. If you come to Sharjah on vacation, be sure to visit this temple. Services run on Friday and Sunday from 10 to 11:30 and Saturday from 17:00 to 18:20.

I was at an Easter night service once. I was pleased that most of them came to pray at the temple, and not only to consecrate cakes and pasques. The temple is bright, neat and well-groomed. The fathers are good. There are church shops and you can borrow a handkerchief if you don't have one of your own. There were quite a few representatives of the Islamic world at the service, and I was pleased with how respectfully and respectfully everything went on the bright Easter holiday.

We were in the temple on the Patronal feast. A beautiful bright temple. The service was conducted by Theophylact, Archbishop of Pyatigorsk and Circassian. A lot of parishioners. They come from other emirates (Ras al Khaimah). There are several Christian churches of other denominations around. The church is conveniently located. 20-30 minutes walk from the main city hotels.

Good day to all🙏 Rested in Sharjah at the end of April beginning of May. I knew about this temple (because I was already there) and went to the service on April 30. It was the feast of the Holy Myrrh-bearing Women. I really like this church, there is such peace there, peace and joy at the same time that there is such a corner in a Muslim country where you can come and pray. I didn't calculate a little with money, I wanted to write a note about health, because we were flying back to Russia in 5 days. And the woman who sells candles, her name is NADEZHDA, took a note from me for free, for which I am very grateful to her. I give her a huge hello and a low bow. I, too, when I flew back home, in my temple, wrote a health note about her. Very warm and pleasant memories remained about the rest. We will definitely return there again....God willing! 🙏🙏🙏

One of the few Orthodox churches in the UAE. It is not exactly similar to the temples in the Russian Federation. With its own characteristics, probably related to the country of location. This is probably the only church in the UAE owned by the Russian Orthodox Church. I've been there once so far on Easter, and the overall atmosphere is friendly and calm.
