Фото сделал с набережной Босфора. Как я понял - старая кладка выделена специально, а новую кладку видно сразу. Напомнило Псковский кремль.... там также оставлены первоначальные участки стен, а остальное реставрированное. Сегодня зайду внутрь стен и посмотрю как они выглядят там.

Восточные стены. Они плохо видны из далека, так как много красивых высоких деревьев загораживает обзор, состояние стен - весьма уставшие, хотя в некоторых местах (людных) стены выглядят как новые.
