We had a vacation in Abkhazia from August to September 2025. I really liked the Prime cafe in Novy Athos, the food is very tasty here, large portions at reasonable prices. Courteous staff, individual approach to each client. Special thanks to the waitress Victoria, who will listen to you carefully and, if possible, offer all possible options for spending time so that you would be satisfied with the establishment. This is the best cafe in New Athos. I recommend it to everyone and I will come again.

I really liked this hotel! The location is in maximum proximity to the railway station, which is very convenient, especially on vacation with children! Our favorite restaurant in New Athos. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner only here, and not for the first year, always here. In Abkhazia, if you have found quality food, it is better to stay there and not tempt fate))) Delicious, pleasant staff. The dishes are large. Try the Crispy salad - it's interesting! The soups are all very tasty, we always enjoy eating. The second is for everyone to have their own! I don't think there's anything on the menu that we haven't eaten) everything is fine! And pizza too! Although pizza is not good everywhere.

A good restaurant, delicious and inexpensive enough to prepare both local and European cuisine. We have lunch there more than once every year, periodically, or celebrate holidays. In the evening, there is a full house and tables may no longer be inside or near the beach, so it's better to book in advance. Payment is made only by cash or online transfer, and 10% of the service fee is automatically included in the bill. The waitress girls are nimble and polite, but somewhat steamed up due to the multitude of orders. I liked the semi-sweet red wine on tap at 400 g/liter, much better than the shmurdyak sold on the market, I even took it with me to the hotel. A huge disadvantage is the Music!!! Marmeladze or Lyuba Uspenskaya plays all the time, it's just trash and some kind of tin!! But we went there to eat, not to relax, so we suffered))

A wonderful place in New Athos. We arrived in Abkhazia for the first time and miraculously got to the Prime cafe. Yes, it was a miracle, because there was nowhere to eat much!!!! Except for the canteens.... Where there are no people.... During the 14 days we lived in New Athos, my family and I went to Prime. The food is fresh!!!!! And no one has ever twisted their stomach , and this is important on vacation , especially for a child . Parents will understand me . polite staff !! Thanks to the chefs and the host for such a place in New Athos!!!

We had a vacation in January 2026. Great place!!! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, many do not finish, but they take it out in containers. Sea view, spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff is helpful, they cooked for us, even before their opening in the morning. Thank you very much! We recommend that everyone stay there only. For comparison, we were in a hotel in Gagra, the price is more expensive, but the service is much worse and the room itself is also worse.

The best cafe of all the places that I managed to visit during my vacation. The price tag is the same as in other establishments in Abkhazia, BUT the quality of the dishes is top class, the portions are a separate story, when ordering one dish, not everyone has the strength to master it!!! Cafe across the street from the hotel - 🔥❤️!! We wandered in by accident last year and nothing has changed for the worse this year. The location is beautiful - with a view of the sea. The choice of dishes is large. The prices are modest for Abkhazia. The portions are huge!! Everything is very tasty and made from fresh ingredients! We walked around many cafes of New Athos and Prime cafes are definitely the best in terms of price-quality-location-staff ratio. I especially want to mention the waitress Victoria - she recognized us from last year (!!). An extremely friendly girl with tireless energy and a wonderful memory (no confusion in orders or bills). Always with a smile, despite the time of day and the number of visitors, of whom there are always a lot in this cafe (sold out in the evening). We had a vacation here in September of this year. I really liked the hotel, as the economy is just fine. The room has a bed, sofa, air conditioning, TV, wardrobe, table. Nice shower and toilet. The repair is good. It is clear that the owners support it with dignity. On the common territory of the prime, everything is clean too, the kitchen is shared, but everything is there. The employee Natasha comes every day, does the cleaning. She is very sociable and friendly. All vacationers are calm and do not make noise. And in general, Abkhazia is the best that we have. Everything the haters write about her is a lie. And people are like people there. And the attitude towards vacationers is good. Prices are reasonable, the streets are clean. And what surprised me was that after 23.00 all the bars are closed and there are no drunken fools and rowdies. Everything is very decent. Yes, people are resting, but culturally, they are not hooligans. This is a nice bonus.

We recently spent an unforgettable vacation with our family in this hotel complex. The room turned out to be very comfortable and cozy, and the view from the window is simply mesmerizing — we enjoyed sunrises and sunsets right from the balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt at home, and all our requests were quickly fulfilled. I especially liked that the price included sun beds on the beach and access to outdoor entertainment — a cinema and swings. I cannot but mention the excursions organized by Quadro Pedro. It was an amazing adventure with quality service and interesting routes. We recommend it to everyone who wants to make their vacation even more intense and memorable!

Delicious, good portions, well-decorated dishes. Comfortable accommodation, but on sunny and hot days, umbrellas and fabric stretched over the tables do not save on open verandas. It would be nice for waiters to keep an eye on the standard set (salt, pepper) on the tables and be more active in moving around the halls. I recommend you to visit, because I do not find a special alternative within a radius of 1 km.

The food is average, some are delicious, some are not. We had lunch several times. The worst thing is that they don't need visitors. Waiting -starting from accepting the order, bringing the order, and making the payment is very long, up to 1.5 hours, which is very bad at lunch, in the heat. The last time we sat for 30 minutes, no one even came to take the order, although the waiters were constantly passing by. I had to leave, since there are many other cafes nearby, with plus or minus the same food, but with faster service. In general, if you do not have a lot of time and desire to wait, then I strongly do not recommend it.

This year we had a rest in Novy Athos, visited your institution, at first we liked everything, the portions were large, but on different days the dishes were cooked differently, apparently it depends on the kitchen and the shift who works. Before leaving, we visited this cafe, took a frying pan with beef and vegetables, (according to the menu with pork, they were cooked from beef for an additional fee of 100 rubles), ate and my torment began, I poisoned myself there, suffered all night (everything came out of me in pieces of this dish, sorry for the details), the next day On the road, I don't have to go for three days. I didn't eat anywhere else that day. Although I had already taken this dish in this cafe before, but it was prepared in a completely different way, much tastier, I decided to take it the second time, it looked completely different, I didn't even finish it and so I poisoned myself. If we hadn't left the next morning, I would definitely have gone to this cafe with pritenzies. And so, in general, the waiters are friendly, the location of the cafe is excellent by the sea. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully choose a place.

The most delicious food that I ate in Abkhazia, how can you ruin hominy, beans and khachapur, your own national dishes. Yes, there is meat. But the pilaf is tasteless. The meat is dry, the rice is overcooked, there are no spices, there is no fat. Yes, the boat: it looks good, but the protein is not fried. Greek salad with mustard. The frying pan is nothing, but boiled tomatoes...there are a lot of greens in the food. But there is no taste. There is nothing to admire. Beer and wine. There is no choice. A cheap choice. So it's very clear that someone is trying...but it turns out that even I can make a barbecue better. To cut it properly, it did not lose its juiciness, and did not burn. P.S. the waiter's payment in the bill is 10%. This is normal, but the waiter is not interested in the customer. You can wait for half an hour. So is the bill. Yes, there is a lot of work, but it's so cool. The customer is always right.

This is the best cafe in Abkhazia. Not only in New Athos The next most delicious thing in Sukhum is Naarta, but more expensive. The barbecue in prime is awesome and pork and chicken, 300 grams-for two people to eat, I took cheese soup many times and recommend it to everyone. For borscht lovers, check out the borscht. Caesar salad with shrimp is a whole mountain. Khachapuri boat is delicious. Just khachapuri too. Drinks, compote, lemonade are delicious. I definitely recommend it.
