Frequent Internet interruptions are probably the norm. I often applied, but all that tp and support could do was change the modem (it didn't help) and... that's it. The support probably considers it superfluous to respond in the chat, as well as to warn their (still) customers that something went wrong with them and they will have to sit without the Internet for a while, and not get through on the phone.
