The hotel is located on a busy but narrow street, quite noisy, the view from the room window is on an old uninhabited building, in the distance you can see the Galata Tower. The rooms are small and cleaned very quickly, but dust remains in the corners and on the furniture. The floor is only vacuumed, not washed!!! The bed linen is very old, there are traces of stains. Towels and bathrobes are also old, already gray. The room is equipped with everything you need, but there is no shoe paddle! It's inconvenient. But they are not even in the fitting rooms of Istanbul shops (we were very surprised). For breakfast: buffet. But the choice is small. Sometimes it's hard to choose something. The food is simple but delicious. On weekdays, breakfast is served until 10:30, which is very inconvenient. I would like to see it before 11:00. The hotel is safe!!! The staff is polite. And I would like to point out that a Russian-speaking employee works at the hotel: Shahribanu Abdulaziz. Polite, always ready to help, oriented in all questions that tourists have. He helps to find the necessary medicines, solves questions about hotel accommodation and can give detailed information on the sights of Istanbul. In general, the hotel is not bad, if you eliminate some of the shortcomings! Upon check-in, we asked to see the room. When we were shown it, we didn't like it, because the official website gives a different impression, we were asked to show a different one, to which we were refused that there were no other numbers. Considering the shortcomings and the high cost of accommodation, I gave a 3-star rating!!!

I want to write about one of my favorite hotels in Istanbul!!!!. An unforgettable place. It is located in the very center of Galata. Friendly staff, receptionists, and also met a nice, kind man named Sheribanu. Delicious breakfasts. This hotel is located in a former bank, there are still bank cells at the reception. The music in the hotel draws me like a magnet.

A wonderful hotel! Convenient location, tourist area within walking distance and at the same time quiet and comfortable inside the hotel. Panoramic restaurant with good cuisine. Polite and friendly staff. We would especially like to mention the work of Shahribanu Abdulaziz, who will solve any question and tell you what you can visit based on your wishes. A wonderful chain hotel within a 5-minute walk to the embankment and Galata Tower. Excellent location of the hotel Very stylish rooms, good breakfasts. There is a small breakfast terrace where you can sit outside with a view of the Bosphorus. Beautiful lobby. Everything is very stylish. Good service. I will be happy to come here again.

The hotel is very pleasant and cozy. Beautiful room design. We had a small room upgrade, but it was the first time in our lives when we lived on the minus 2nd floor. But the windows looked out very well into a quiet courtyard, directly onto the dome of the hammam. It was because of the hammam that I took off the star. A half-hour wash for hotel guests cost € 85 and there was a delay in the start of the session - BY an HOUR!! Yes, then they brought fruit and so on, but the mood has already deteriorated a little. I recommend the hotel.

The location is good, 3 minutes from the metro. The rooms are very small, the bathroom door is the same as the shower, and if you take a shower, the toilet looks into the room. The breakfasts are meager, the eggs are only boiled, there are no scrambled eggs or omelets, there is only one kind of sausage and cheese. They only make coffee in the kettle, and they don't make cappuccino either.

We had a rest in March 2024 at this hotel. I really liked the hotel itself, beautiful, and its location, almost in the historical center of Istanbul. The staff is very friendly, especially the Russian-speaking girl, the manager, is always ready to prompt and help. Although it should be noted that the other guys are also very attentive and even try to speak a little Russian, which is very nice! The breakfasts are delicious and, of course, the coffee is amazing! During the eviction, they staged an attempt at a classic Turkish deception with a mini-bar. But we miscalculated, because I took photos of the mini-bar before and after check-in. I was alarmed that there was no inventory of the contents on the mini-bar when checking in. As a result, during the eviction, all the staff gathered and staged a circus, they began to present some bottles, which they suddenly took out of nowhere with some liquids and began to unfoundedly claim that we allegedly opened them and poured something else into them. As soon as I showed them the before and after photos, I started telling them to call the police immediately and provide an interpreter, and they started being openly rude so that I could get out of here. It's just a shame, not a hotel! I take it as a personal insult! There is nothing in common with Accor hotels - all the staff from the reception to the waiters communicate through gritted teeth with favors. They asked for an iron, and they brought it only after I had to go downstairs and ask for a second time. There is a "Turkish service" everywhere, when you need to ask for everything, for example, there is a large thermos kettle with some kind of coffee for breakfast, and cappuccino, espresso or "Turkish coffee" - you have to ask, the waiters themselves will never offer it to you. And if you ask something, then sit and think - is it included in the price or will it be like with a mini-bar later. Upon check-in, they brought a plate of fruits, among which were a spoiled peach and an unripe, stale kiwi. At breakfast there is a special sausage, special cheese, stale bread, they don't know how to fry eggs, they serve raw - it's all true. The view room on the Golden Horn has only one window with a view, 2 facing each other, the windows overlook the hood from the restaurant, which also has a roof that opens and music, screams, and the smell of the kitchen can be heard until 2 a.m. The air conditioner smells like a wet cloth. The sound insulation is poor. You can hear everything from the next room and from the hallway. The view rooms are connected by an adjacent door. It's closed, but it immediately feels like you're living with someone else. The mattress is sagging. You can't work like this! If it's not Accor, remove any mention of it.

A chic hotel with excellent service, beautiful rooms, a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Bosphorus, an old hamam)) delicious and interesting breakfasts, the rooms have a coffee machine, a pillow menu, and a cool interior. The windows of my room overlooked the courtyard with a fountain and pigeons, So you could hear the unobtrusive soothing murmur of water in the room) Galata is 5 minutes away, boats on the Bosphorus and Galata port is 10 minutes away. I recommend it!

When choosing a hotel, do not hesitate and book it. A great small and very cozy hotel. The photos on the site correspond to what is actually there. The location is great!!!! - it couldn't be better. Everything is nearby and within walking distance. Even the subway station. But there is one small BUT!!! If you come across a room not with a view of the strait, but on an inner street, then you should be prepared for such a view. I'm attaching a photo. But even this view did not spoil our vacation experience.

I liked the hotel. Convenient location. Near Istiklal, Galata, metro. Comparatively, the port is nearby. Quiet and cozy. The only negative is, don't take the 0201 number. There is an external air conditioning unit for the entire hotel behind the wall of the room. There is a hum at night and the wall vibrates. We checked into it only because the hotel was on the "stop ". Completely filled in. The next day, the room was changed without question, as the guests had checked out and rooms were available. Not to say that the breakfasts are particularly chic, but the hotel is good for its price.

The location of this hotel is just great! But... when we arrived to check into the hotel, there were 7 of us, we had purchased 3 rooms, where we notified the hotel staff about the possible settlement of us on the same floor. When we checked in, we were given rooms, and we were shocked 🤯 one room was on the 0 floor, that is, when you look out the window, there are other people looking at our room, then we were given a room with a view of the wall of another building, and the third room is generally just kapets- in our room there was the door to another room where other people lived and we heard everything they were talking about, usually in such rooms with a door, families with children are accommodated in an adjacent room. Next, we asked to replace our rooms, as other rooms were dissuaded and paid for with everything, somehow they changed two rooms and gave us on the same floor, but one room remained with a view of the wall of another hotel. The breakfasts at the hotels were amazing, very tasty! The rooms were cleaned well. The hotels have a famous restaurant, it's delicious there, but you can make a menu in Russian. Since we are not the only Russians who were in this hotel. So, in general, at first the impression was spoiled, but then the mood was slightly restored. But I wouldn't stop there a second time. Just a beautiful building with a history.

We arrived at 6 a.m., called the reservation and asked if we could get an early check-in, according to our platinum status. The hotel staff said that there would be no rooms before 2 p.m. The hotel was full. While we were asking clarifying questions, two families moved out of the hotel before our eyes. We talked to them. It turned out that they had vacated rooms that would suit us, but the hotel staff again said they would not check us in before 2 p.m. We offered to pay for an early check-in, and we were advised to look for another hotel if we needed it urgently. We quickly found a hotel one and a half times cheaper, ready to receive us, and asked the Galata Hotel staff to cancel the reservation and refund the money. And here we received such a hellish charge of rudeness that we will never consider or recommend this hotel to anyone again. Three employees literally bullied us. They waved their arms, shouted, and threatened the police. It was simply impossible to shout over them. It would never have occurred to us that such rudeness could be encountered in a five-star hotel. The employees refused to give their names, and their badges were allegedly intentionally erased – it is impossible to read. The bottom line was this. These guys have a cleaner who only comes in for lunch, so even if rooms were available, they refused to check in to platinum customers. No one returned the money to us.
