A good museum. Outdoors vehicle and artillery exposition is decent and quite representative, albeit not in great shape. Lots of artillery from across Europe, classic armored vehicles. The museum itself is well-designed (Soviet-times exposition with added guest exhibits). The ancient and medieval part have lots of bad copies but inventive and pretty museum spaces, and some amazing individual pieces here and there. Lots of VERY interesting Turkish-influenced arms and armor. 20th century is very colorful, a panoply of all small arms across all belligerents coopted by partisans, like both Chauchat versions for example! And most of the SMGs and pistols ever used then. The 1990s part is interesting since it has interesting captured pieces from Western-backed enemies: overall, surely a treat for a gun history enthusiast.

The Military Museum is a military museum founded in 1878 by decree of Prince (later the first King of Serbia) Milan I Obrenovich. The museum seemed just great! The museum's expositions (there are also interactive ones) are quite extensive, interesting and cover the period of history from the time of the birth of the Serbian state to the time of the NATO aggression in 1999. Entrance ticket (adult visitor, 2025) 350 RSD. In addition to the 30,000 exhibits located directly in the museum, there are quite impressive and interesting expositions of military equipment on the territory near the museum, which can be viewed for free...

If you are interested in military history and technology, a few hours will fly by like five minutes. A unique (and at the same time free) outdoor collection of large equipment, a rich collection of small arms and other types of equipment inside the museum will make an indelible impression!

The museum is more about the distant past than about the events of the recent past. There is not much information about Yugoslavia and the deployment of Russian troops during the Yugoslav war. Oh, and there's no audio guide.

A great museum! The building presents the military history of the region from ancient times to the NATO bombing of Serbia. A huge number of military costumes and military uniforms from the time of the Turkish conquest, to the First and Second World Wars. Small arms are well represented. It will be very interesting for fans and those interested. There is an exposition of artillery and military equipment near the museum on the street. There are a couple of rarities among the tanks. The Serbian "Vozilo A" is the only one in the world, the German Pz. I F is one of two (the second in Kubinka), Italian-Hungarian and Polish wedges are also rare "birds".

The museum turned out to be not small, but it is convenient to go through everything to see, there are many places nearby where you can walk

An excellent Museum of Military Equipment on the territory of an ancient fortress in the historical part of Belgrade. A lot of well-restored tanks, cannons, howitzers and other shooting games of the last two wars (1914 and 1945). I was pleased with the 50-centimeter cannon. I didn't think there were such things! The museum is free! I recommend it!

The museum does not seem to have been repaired since the collapse of the SFRY. It would have been very good for those times, now it is a little boring
