The ensemble was founded by the Turks, the Karakhnid dynasty in the 11th century. The mausoleum of the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad, whose name was Kusam ibn Abbas, is located on the territory of the complex. And now the complex is called Shoh-i Zinda - "The Living King". If you are in Samarkand, be sure to visit this magical place! There is also a viewing platform with a beautiful view of the city. I highly recommend you to visit!
