A good place with a moderate number of people, not too loud city noise, relatively clean air, in general you can sit for an hour, or especially when you need to get off the subway and talk normally (on the phone, live).

It is beautiful and majestic, the trees have grown up, it has become green. I remember the square with the old huge plane trees, it was also very beautiful, the trees were 4 arms in circumference, it's a pity the photo was not preserved. I recommend it anyway. Tashkent is a super beautiful and my favorite city. Happiness and peace to this city.

The trees have not yet grown after the total felling. But this place still remains a landmark for appointments. The city center and all the roads of the capital converge here one way or another. Street musicians often sit in the passages. There are a lot of foreigners, as there are several large hotels near the square. The place was once a landmark for the capital, now, for old times' sake, people gather here to move somewhere deeper into the city from this point. Photographers and I often start our photo walks from the square, as it is the easiest way to get here. There is a lot of transport, the subway and it is quite easy to find each other

The Amir Temur Square is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This square was named after the great Turkmen warrior and ruler Amir Temur, also known as Tamerlane. The square is one of the city's attractions and a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists. Here you can walk along the green alleys, enjoy the beautiful flowers and fountains, as well as see the monument to Amir Temur.

It used to be more beautiful and cozy here. There were big trees and a lot of shade. Sixteen years ago, I even met my future wife here for the first time. You could sit on the benches, there were a lot of people. And now, in the summer, you don't even want to go through this territory. It was hot. And there are no people here in the warm season.

A square with young trees. There is little shade in summer. There are very few shops and some of them should be 10 times more.
The key is the monument of the commander on horseback, against the background of the Soviet hotel "Uzbekistan"
There is a subway nearby.
There are no toilets nearby.
In places, there is bad asphalt and walking tiles.

The beautiful cultural center of Tashkent city. People from all over the world come here, a lot of tourists. Everything is beautifully landscaped, there are many trailers with different kitchens, but most of them are of the same type. It's better to come and walk in the evening anyway - this way Broadway looks brighter and more beautiful. There's a Broadway cafe, it's like a local DJ there - music is playing all over the square, it's good that even though it's modern and good, for everyone. Time passes quickly and with pleasure there. I am satisfied.

The center of modern Tashkent is a stumbling block between those who remember old plane trees (or plane trees), oaks and other trees and those who cut them down, gave orders to cut or simply remained silent. The rider on the horse is Amir Temur, the commander, conqueror and leader of the Maveronahr, around which this whole park with paths and benches is now located.
