The Carrara quarries, as well as the Apuan Alps in general, are the best things to see in Tuscany. I didn't like the marble caves so much, the open-pit mining of marble is more stunning. I especially liked CAVA LA FACCIATA - a dirt road on which it is necessary to periodically remove fragments from rockfalls, and a punctured wheel as a result. An unforgettable adventure.
