We had a week off from November 29 to December 06 in Dubai at the Golden Sands Hotel Creek 5*. Flydubai flight – everything was on schedule, the food on the flight was good. The rest itself: it was the first time we were in Dubai, we liked everything, do not believe the statement that you cannot live in Deira in Dubai - it is very interesting in Deira, and in the area of the Dubai Creek canal it is also very atmospheric. The hotel is a little outdated in design, its disadvantages end there, otherwise everything is fine - the rooms are large, the view of the Canal, the mosque is located nearby and its sounds can be heard, which adds flavor, the beds and mattresses are comfortable, the room has a refrigerator, a capsule coffee maker, a kettle, stocks of coffee, water and tea are replenished daily, cosmetics of a good level. The hotel charges taxes, and our Rosselkhoznadzor cards are accepted for payment, which is convenient. The breakfasts and lunches (or dinners) are great, and dining outside in the restaurant's outdoor area is a special treat. The staff is simply beyond praise. I really liked the rooftop pool with a great view of the center of Dubai with a Golden frame, Burj Khalifa, etc., in a bathrobe from the room we used it twice a day in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before dinner, the pool is open from 8.00 to 20.00. There is no transfer to the beaches, but we knew it in advance, we used metro and buses, sometimes taxis. The nearest beach is Al Mamzar, it takes 40 minutes to drive, the fare is 3 AED, but we later chose a Kite, it took a little longer (metro 5 AED and bus 7 AED), but it seemed more interesting to us there. Moving is worth considering if they are critical for you, it takes time and money, and of course it is for a normal season with a comfortable temperature (in December it is +28 outside, water + 25), but also the opportunity to see the city from the inside. So I can safely recommend the hotel to those who speak English (you will need to order for breakfast and dinner), are mobile, that is, they do not find it difficult to walk 10 minutes to the metro station and want to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Dubai. Prices in shops and cafes in Deira, unlike Marina, are very low-cost, not higher than Russian prices for sure. A beautiful promenade along the Embankment, a leisurely 40-minute walk to the Golden Market, and a marina for walking along the beautiful Canal.

It's a lovely hotel. We arrived at 11 a.m. and we were immediately settled. The deposit is 300 dirhams, which is refunded upon eviction. We had a room on the 11th floor #1101, panoramic windows on two sides, a magnificent view from the window. There is an iron in the room, ironed.a board, a hairdryer, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, a kettle, a bathrobe, slippers, in general, everything you need is there. There is a swimming pool on the top floor. The staff is executive, they will do everything immediately upon request. We had breakfast only - delicious, comfortable restaurant. It took 30 dirhams and 20 minutes by taxi to Almamzar beach. Union metro station is a 15-minute walk away. Across the street there is an embankment where you can walk in the evening
